The more I use this SGS2 the more I find it hard to ever consider anything else,corny, but serious! Where to begin? The massive well planned screen with plenty of res, the ability to use flash without any hang ups whatsoever! The microsd card is very handy,i just got a 32Gb on top of 16Gb on board! If you are barve, or like me,insane, CyanoGenMod works very well to improve this cell even more! This sleek cell can do it all with no error severe enough to reconsider it! Yes I paid 600 USD, but its worth it! I do photography, and this cell phones ability to take fantastically reproduced photos is freakin fantastic! colors are very vibrant,crisp,clear, and ∞ly cool! plus 1080p as well!plus more when time permits me like, fm radio!

Yes the SGSII can make video calls via 3G network.. I did it using my Vodafone network to call a Mobinil (In Egypt).. and it worked like magic,,, although I didn't know how much did they charge me over these calls..

Just bought this phone. I have two questions, KIndly help me out.
1. How to change the conversation / threaded view of SMS into standard view.
2. How to set message alert tone with the tone i have saved / from gallery.
Pl. help me to get these resolved. i am just one day old in using this faboulous phone.

guys Pls help me out today afternoon suddenly my s2 hanged and restarted and thereafter it is happening again and again...
It restarts and works fine for around five minutes and then again hangs while calling on the calling screen.
The problem is That it is even not connecting to the USB cable neither in KIES nor in MASS storage.
It is a very dull feeling , everythng has stopped since this noon in my life .seems like this.
Even done a s/w reset . but same is happening again at the cost of all data.
Since it was not connecting to USB.
While playing videos in charging mode it shows HDMI cable connected and no voice comes from the handset.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!11 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

go to settings,then to wireless and network,and then to mobile networks and uncheck the option of USE PACKET DATA when u don't want to use internet and check it when u want to use it ... there will be no internet chanrging ;)

The Samsung Galaxy 2, The Samsung´s iPhone Killer. I bought one for me and for my wife,and Now I will buy one for 11 years daughetr,Also I Had the iphone 4, and to tell you the truth,I just sell it,The SG2,is the best phone i ever had.More faster than I phone,Apple is going to take out the iphone 5, to compete with this, Imagine how powerful this phone is, Imagine how it will be the SG3, would end the world, Je,Je.

I freaking have no regrets cashing out on this one! It is fast! I thought the original SGS was already fast, I had it rooted and on Darky's v9.5 custom ROM-- but SGS2 simply is faster, does not restart and freaking smooth! Freaking love this phone!

Hello Folks! I'm proud to own a Samsung Galaxy S2, for it's Collectively Faster & Enjoyable. First few days i was confused, for it does not have Receive, Dialed or Miss calls Distinctly Visible. One has to go Thru the Log/s. Nor it has Sent, Received text message boxes. But surely one can view the whole thread of messages in the form of chat with Apparently two different colors Indicating as in & out. Many of my friends faced this minor problem as stating, the GPRS or 3G gets Activated itself. For that press long on the Right option key, than Deactivate the 'DATA NETWORK MODE.' Also one can Exit the Unwanted Finished Programmes in the 'Task Manager' Application. Task manager can be quickly brought to screen by pressing the Rectangle centre key below the screen. On the Flip side, the Battery Life is not upto the Desired Mark. But overall am very Happy with this Android Cellphone, for i have Downloaded Host of Applications from the Andriod Market trying to be in touch with this Latest Supportive Technology & Happenings..

neel, 02 Sep 2011battery sucks. for normal use it doesnt last for even 6 hours...Is your definition of "normal use" hours of gaming followed by hours of streaming Flash 10 movies at the same time as you use the gps? S2 must have changed the definition of "normal use" because if I use it as I would use my boring old Nokia N97 mini I get atleast as long batterylife as I do with my old N97 mini!
