I have a problem. sometimes ( not always ) the default video player shows the message "cannot play the file". These files are same files which plays very well at other times on the phone.I have to shut down the phone and restart it after that it plays same files without any problem. Is it because of some video player apps and its plugins downloaded from the market. Help required.

I bought it last month.
(y) Super-duper clear LCD, OS that make it faster, big memory capacity
(n) bad experience on internet connection (esp in my location, Indonesia), battery life,

I have heard lot's of negative stories about this phone.
Most carriers like to put their own customization on a phone OS or interface so most of the performance issues are because of that. - Get the leaked 2.3.4 if it is not against your warranty policy (you can make a back up)
Battery life - like all phones considering the power it has will suck the battery dry, spec if you have 7 home screens with every possible widget on. But I have used it to watch movies for 8hours straight brightness of 5, most i have done with my iphone was 6. - it has a travel charger and a usb plug you can charge it, you can also buy an extra battery. I have problems with that on my iphone(cant change bat) also if you have a weak signal the s2 tries to increase the power so it uses it up faster
Resolution - cant deny that on paper iphone has better resolution - if you plan on holding your phone within 2 inches of your eyes or at an almost 80 degree angle it would be noticable
Android market imho is not as good as the app store YET. maybe just got used to the app store.
Bundled Earphones Suck on both. Can be fixed by buying Sure earphones... If you can afford the phone dont complain. The player and sounds on the iphone are a bit better.
Pictures are better on the galaxy s2 - Video is fantastic but sometimes lags on full HD when its dark or there is a very reflective area.
UI i once changed it to be like my iphone(turned all of my widgets off and put countless icons on the home screens), I can change it on my Galaxy. Cant do that on my Iphone
I can attach a full usb keyboard on my galaxy s2 (kind of useless at times when i am at the beach and dont have enough space in my pocket)

Guys need your experience on this Handset, is it getting hanged, i know that galaxy S has issues. But what about this? Also there is Iphone 4 cheaper version there in the corner.... which 1 i should go for... i'm confused a bit.
Let me know how is this phone? do we have any issues using it?

Hey guys, what do you think of Samsung Galaxy Note?
5.3" 800x1280 pixels, dual-core 1.4Ghz processor.
But it's heavy at 178g and big with 146.9 x 83 x 9.7mm dimensions.
I think I stick with my SGS2.

for the music v... moreNo the s2 does not offer that features in music player.In landscape mode the screen gets split into two half. The left shows the album cover and the right shows volume / list view option /pause - next - previous buttons. You have the option to slide on the album cover half side to left / right to go to previous or next song.

i had samsung star wifi the last time and I am satisfied with the performance. I want to get this when I have the money. I prefer SE or Samsung than iphone. I don't know but I think for me this is cool!

jaylo, 01 Sep 2011what is wifi direct?any way its a cool phonewi-fi direct is a feature same as bluetooth. you can transfer files much faster using this feature but both phones should have wi-fi direct

dont buy this..i ve buyed it 2 weeks back..and i ve installed hd gameloft games.all the titles are running but when i ve started playing the game nothing is visible.seems there is a problem with the graphics..if anyone found the same issue and fixed it please tell me..

battery backup!!!! is the best on this phone my friend... u wont have any phone having this backup and iphone 4 is a complete fail compared to this buddy

Best phone by fast.love the sype texting and super fast speed.can do almost anything with this nifty phone. Better than iphone by far.by the looks of it will most likely be better than the new iphone.
