howzit.I found this and wanted to find out if anyone knows how true its.Official 2.3.4 via kies in poland and brazil but flashable via odin.

its cos i havnt seen anything about it here or maybe i just missed it.if its official then i want to try it.im currently on unofficial 2.3.4 xxKG6 rooted but want to see what the original has to offer.xxkg6 doesnt have gtalk vid calls for example.if anyones knows then cheers.

8 gb is not good .Phone is grate but only in 16 gb version.i have update latest firmware.battery is doing grate.sensors are doing fast response than 8 gb.there is no problems in display.No heating problems.I have over clock up 1.4 GHZ. Now it is a real smart phone.

Two queries:
1. My firmw... more2. How to control the programs in the background..Several programs and processes are running in background and reducing the battery drastically..
The latest is Android 2.3.4 (which has better battery management, among other things). We have to upgrade it. I think I have to take it to the service centre for it. We can do it through the phone itself. I don't if I should do it that way.
To control background programs, like closing, I created a shortcut for 'Task Manager' on the Home page. Just click it and you can see what are the running applications. That's what I do. I have also bought it recently, Just 2 weeks ago.

To those complaining:
Heating - It will get warm not hot when playing games. Every mobile gets warm when game playing. It just that some are thick (i.e iphone4 - surrounded by front and back glass) so you wont feel the heat. The new update will solve it like some other poster said. If it gets hot that you can't hold it, then return it as its a hardware problem like I did. They gave me another model under my warranty and that solved the heat. It still gets warm but not hot.
Battery - Its a mini lap top so stop moanign about the battery. Every smart phone has a battery that lasts a few hours. SG2 is great compared to others. The battery supplied is a 1650mah. Just go to google search, ebay or amazon and buy a 3500 mah extended battery (£10)like I did which will last 3 days until it needs charging again.
Meanwhile until you get it, switch of WIFI, Bluetooth, animation wallpaper/screensavers and especially DATA when not in use to preserve the 1650 mah battery supplied with the phone.

I had this phone since last night I must say design is great. Resolution is remarkable battery backup is commendable can be used for more than a day with good usage. Only bad part is the back of phone plastic of very bad quality. But this phone is matchless. Best android ever seen. Highly recommended phone.
