saikun, 04 Aug 2011hi all there , there is 2 serious issue regarding this phon... moreThe wifi "issue" can be fixed by updating firmware, though I have never had any problems with wifi but I mostly use it when some games say they need it to download game-data!
I can not see the yellow screen tint, and I have really tried hard, maybee it was only on the first S2s but not on the newer ones.

for all iphone fans plz note that the iphone is not at all made by apple.....The screen is made by LG the processor by Samsung the building of the phone by htc n u guys call d iphone orignal..............

It is very popu... more i re-flashed last night to 2.3.4 xxKG6 and re-rooted.i mostlty do it tthrough xda or a site called andriodadvices.com.the second of two usually send you off toxda to get the chainfire root kernal.anyway.although not being official upgrades i find performance to be fine as far as update go but the two main goodies for me have been the the battery and the over heating.its only been a day but i thought id give it some more.than normall use to try it out and found that the battery meter doesnt often go over 34C and by freezing some apps it seems to be lasting a bit longer than before.these being two main concerns for alot of people it seems.touch perfomance,internet,downloading and all that was always awesome anyway but now its all slightly better.althougth some things depend on your carrier i would imagine.anyway my two cents.

hi all there , there is 2 serious issue regarding this phone which are wifi issue as well as yellow screen tint issue that occur only on low brightness and thus please take note of that before buying this phone.

There will probably soon be a lancher/skin available that make Android look almost like Nokia N9 Harmattan.
If you really want MeeGo then you should choose Nokia N9!

i have this unusual bug in my phone..sometimes when i wish to dial a no keypad doesnt show up.bt after i restart the phone it is there..cant reaaly undersatnd the reason.
my phone has started to lag a bit.sometimes when i switch from running application to homescreen the widgets on the takes times to load itself and sometimes the games like modern combat,brother in arms crashes on its own and on checking the usage it had used up 80-90% of cpu.
besides these it is a gr8 phone.

AnonD-252, 03 Aug 2011Yes, you can use Nokia USB-on-the-GO cable!no u cant directly use nokia usb on the go cable with it unless u have a adaptor.i have both the phones and tried it myself.

i read comments of both handsets, but still not satisfied
htc sensation has good body so is durable, but samsung galaxy s2 has video calling and htc sensation doesnt
htc sensation has AMAZING graphics and animations, idk about galaxy s2
i can change my phone right now within a day form htc sensation to galaxy s2, but if i dont like galaxy s2, i will switch back to htc
galaxy s2 lasts longer in battery as compared to htc sensation, and has video callind whwereas htc sensation doesnt, but i still like htc better
i used galaxy s earlier and sold it after 6 months, i have a bad experience for samsung earlier, but i also want to try galaxy s2
does galaxy s2 hang?? how good is the speed of opening applications and what is the memory like
can someone explain me more pls?????

I have had the phone for a month now fabulous Phone unbelievably handling. But i m not all that happy with the camera quality at night i want to know if i am doing something wrong. even with everything on auto the picture quality is not that great. also how can i switch to 2g manually so that i can save my battery-life.

[deleted post]Nokia WP7-phones will be a historical failiure, Android Froyo is much better os and Ice Cream Sandwich is very much better. Nokia should have used their N9 Harmattan skin on Android and given Nokia Maps to their Android-phones buyers, just like HTC use Sence and Locations exclusively for HTC buyers on Android. Almost everyone want to buy a Nokia-Android but almost nobody want to buy any WP7-phone! Apps on WP7-"store" is more expensive than even the same apps in the already expensive Apple Store.
WP7 startpage looks as if was made for people with some eye-problem.
Samsung will be even more successful now that Nokia did not choose Android and Nokia is not even going to make any more MeeGo-phones after N9. Elop could very well have caused the end of the mobile giant Nokia!

One more question. Will non-Nokia OTG cable work? They look alike, but nokia cost too much. Is there any qualitative difference? In the socket etc? Fearing the socket might be damaged, i didn't force it in. is it OK?

Hi all, I have this phone and am loving it. It is very popular here in London, UK. Anyway for those who have updated their software to 2.3.4, please tell me the main differences/advantages of this. How can I update to this with numerous downloads or zipping files? I wish this was officially available OTA (over the air - via WIFI) or by plugging the SG2 into the PC. This was the only plus my Iphone4 had over this phone. Samsung have to make updates similiar to those of Nokia and the iphone. That aside, this phone is a beast and the best at present. Also I would advise people to install an Anti virus. I got AVG anti virus free from the Android market.
