Hello,
I would like to know if i can connect pendrive/flashdrive, card reader etc, using nokia's USB on the GO (OTG) cable? Here in my place samsung's USB OTG adapter is not availble yet. Is there any alternative? Please help.

AnonD-9390, 03 Aug 2011samsung S 2 battery life is really bad..... any software wi... moreBatterylife on S2 is really good, not many laptop-computers have better batterylife when watching hd-movies and surfing on the Internet and watching Adobe Flash 10 movies and playing games and... If you use S2 only in the same way you would use a boring Symbian-phone from Nokia then you will get even better batterylife than that Symbian!
Updating to 2.3.4 will improve batterylife a lot, and see my earlier comment on how to update to 2.3.4.

Note: Internal storage is divided into 'device memory' and 'usb storage'. Device memory is only 2 GB and apps which cant be moved can only reside in device memory.
Phone manufacturers should really specify this. I was looking for a phone with lots of memory for apps, and was very dissapointed about this!

I recently had my HTC Desire HD stolen and unfortunately the HTC Sensation was not yet available in South Africa, and decided to replace the HTC with Samsung S2.
Although only having the phone for a week I must say I am extremely disappointed with my experience thus far and regret not waiting for the HTC Sensation.
I am experiencing a number of problems with the S2:
1. Using the phone keypad to access Contacts as shortcut for dialling, the phone defaults to the landline contact number, and not the mobile number. I therefore have to access my address book and search for my contacts cell number, which is really slow as I have 4,500 contacts and you can't contact somebody quickly on their mobile. HELP
2. My S2 won't connect with my BMW Handsfree
3. The phone gets really hot
4. BUT MOST IMPORTANT the battery life sucks ........with limited useage and switching my mail to hourly as opposed to Push, I can't get through a day, without the battery dieing by 6 or 7pm and only using the phone for calls, the odd sms etc. and not even using the internet or surfing as this I do on my laptop in my office
IS THERE A SOFTWARE UPGRADE FROM 2.3.3 OR PATCH THAT WILL SOLVE THESE ISSUES???

August... moresorry brother,to hear about it.Iam not sure u vl get it back or not,but u can prevent others from using it.If u had installed anti virus and anti theft software on the phone,u must have known how to recover ur phone.Otherwise call the customer care of the sim which was in the phone at the time of theft and report the whole incident ask them to block the phone permanently!
No other way.

i have been using nokia since my school days..
i got borred of old symbian apps..
first time im switching to andr handset samsung sg2
guys
ITS A DREAM MACHINE
first of all its damn fast 1.2 ghz processor...
runs any apps fast videos music games etc...
samsung added some features like
5.1 surround sound. fantastic when u r watching a movie or listening to music..and more...
sensors, cam quality video and snaps amazing..etc

its worth it guys

I can't connect my Galaxy S2 with Kies (latest version or old version )
My computer (windows XP) connects my phone with USb without any problem. But in Kies it shows connecting.... and nothing is happening.

SGS II is too expensive though. and it is much like iphone4. LG O2X is much cheaper and has almost same spec, unique design. I will buy O2X next week. cheers
