Thumb of rule with big display smartphones is around 4 hours of intense use with display always on. Not a normal way to use a phone, I agree. But 4 hours one can distribute through the day. This I think, is a more honest way to measure what one can expect. To be one the safe side, it means at least two chargers - one at home and one at work.

AnonD-10729, 30 Jul 2011can some1 suggest a battery saving application..and link fo... moreThere are lots of "battery defender" apps out there, but uninstall them all and instead went for "Advanced Task Killer" + "SwitchPro Widget". The combination of Killer frequency set to "Crazy" then screen is off (just be sure to define exceptions) plus a Killer-widget on every screen plus one-click access to Brighness-toggle, LockScreen and other switches made a big difference. I also use black wallpaper with "colors" (Android Market).

'Better Battery Stats' is a Great application to show what apps are causing the Awake. Highly recommended. Download it from XDA.

I was so much lost with the phone that i forgot 2 write the review!!
Amazing touch screen!!! Never seen such a wonderful touch response!!
lightning Fast processor!! Phone did not hung even once since i have purchased!
All d Games are getting successfully installed and running without a hitch!!!
Superb Camera picture quality!
Battery - 16 hrs fr moderate usage! can be increased to 1.5x using battery saving applications!
No sort f color tint issue...Little bit heating which is quite normal....
last but not the least, i m in love with my S2!
Go, Grab yours and you wont regret your decision!

After a long wait i bought this phone the first day it is available in my city (which is 6 days back) but from second day it was giving me problem getting hot i mean boiling hot at camera side that i can't touch that side even it hurts when i put it in my pocket and battery drain in max 30 mins .. however i have returned it now waiting for replacement

can someone tell me what the bad of this phone? And can we play game online like we play game in laptop? And can we open the flash disk or other in this phone? If yes how? And if it must use a cable, is the cable on this phone box? Pls answer :(

Hi, I'm from Brazil and I got this phone on monday and it's the best phone ever. The price in Brazil is US$1600 without contract, but with my points in the operator i've paid only US$80. Now i'm trying to sell mey iphone4 (it is a very good phone, but SGSII is unbeatable). I surprise why samsung is waiting to start to sell this phone in US.
