My s2 gets much longer to charge. It takes about more than 6 hours to charge fully. Is it a common problem with the phone? How are you guys sort out this case?

My S2 cannot be upgraded to ICS or JB. Its stay... moreif you have an UNLOCKED phone try it with another sim card asthe updates are NETWORK dependent
From Gingerbread to Honeycomb 4.0.3 in February 2013
and from 4.03 to ICS 4.1.2 on 31/08/2013 (the last update per GSMArena
if you are NOT getting it is the network you are on
so sim card
the SGS 3 will get the 4.3 jellybean starting in December
So if Samsung do do another it may be just the 4.2.2 jelly bean

this phone is awesome! I've had it for over a year and i'm extremely satisfied with it, it has exceeded my expectations, for its price it's the best, the camera is very good for stills, the LED make's plenty of light for stills and videos, and the video recording is wow even at night and it focuses correctly also the sound is clear even if you are filming in a club or a party which is pretty impressive that the mics can handle the powerful pressure. The screen is great, i seriously don't have lag problems, works perfectly and the battery is good, i was between xperia p and this one when i bought it, my mother bought the xperia p 6 months later, after using both there can't be any comparison, the xperia p is laggy, the screen has horrible colors and the camera is disappointing. I can't express how wowed i was by the s2 camera, it was the most unexpected thing. Anyway people this phone is a great deal for this money, great hardware and software, ain't rushing to change it, probably next year when s4 prices will go down. until this phone tried plenty of other companies, never was fully satisfied like with this one so i'll be going for a samsung again.

I have the 19100p NFC variant and it was full of bloatware from orange uk when i had ICS 4.0.4 But when i used odin to get to 4.1.2 instead of using the UK firmware i put the French equivalent on and there is no bloatware whatsoever so i highly recommend it of you have a GT19100P if u dont want unnecessary things blocking up the app storage space. Plus i got over 10000 on antutu benchmark
