I have bought new S2 I9100 from Dubai. I have been using android of different brands. The reservation I have with this phone is the charging time which takes about 4 hours charging from 15% to 100%. Is this normal for S2 or I got the bad battery or may be non-genuine battery. Whats the charging time you guys get ?

Hi friends, I upgraded my sgs2 to jellybean 4.1.2. But when I work in any apps there is no way to go directly to home screen. Is this true multitasking? If anyone knows how is possible to go directly to home screen, please tell me. Thanks

Phuz, 12 Oct 2013Never update this phone. I had it with Gingerbread for near... moreyou really should do research as the IP5S has a 1560mAh non removable and bigger than on compared to the SGS II 1650mAh issue 2011.
There are many apps such as battery doctor but the point is you have a 2 year old phone so OLD battery.
I have always bought a spare as backup,
the problem diagnosed is NOT remedied by the solution offered
Batteries DO not go on forever.
The JB update was amazing a UPGRADE.
Buy a new SASUNG battery than moving away

i just bought it last week and there is a problem with songs sometimes there is a click or hiccup o skip in the song wich remains for a second it occurs randomly , it doesnt occur too much but it's annoying any solution?

Never update this phone. I had it with Gingerbread for nearly two years and it was amazing. I updated to Jellybean and it is now a sack of battery guzzling, laggy, wifi dropping shite and the update is non reversable without rooting. Now I am counting the days to my upgrade. I will be buying an iphone, to sell on ebay, to buy a Chinese phone like Xiaomi, or Oppo who actually do something about problems with software and give a shot about aftersales care. My once amazing S2 is now crap and I will never buy Samsung again for not fixing, or allowing reversal of this rubbish update.

It's a good phone. But it's gets very warm ALOT and then you always have to power it off which takes you about 2 mins . WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
