Its GOOGLE all the way for me now,after years of other plarforms "bar apple"it just does the job for me..It is getting better all the time and look forward to Ice Cream Sandwich.Its just so brilliant and moving so fast with bigger O/S changes and smartphone changes nearly every week.
I dont know if others feel the same but Android has changed the way for me and i think its the best O/S for smartphones and tablets..I am not into tablets but getting a Nexus S soon to see what Android is its its purest form..I love Android.

..1 thing after rooting a phone can we get back the original firmware without root back on the phone????
so that service center does not get to know it was rooted...

Anyone has any idea on how can we change the resolution of video transmitted when using video chat using application like vtok. It seems to use the default resolution using the 2 Megapixel camera.

i also want to buy this phone, but ive read alot on the net about the heat issue, to be honest, i previously use wave, and that heats up too, ususally the screen gets hot when i watch movies in it and also while charging, wave use metal to its body so i now the heat cmes from the case, but seriously speaking samsung is like a turtle when it comes to updating its handsets, worst case scenario they wont bother when new flagship phone is released..

Hi guys i just updated my Galaxy S2 phone ...i heard some people say its Android 2.3.4 but uafer upgrade my phone still says Andriod 2.3.3 ...my update did go well not sure the problem is....can anybody help?

I have got mine,
i hv bn doing lotta research on this,once i got this in my hands i was nt that excited, as i have already android user (HTC Legend v2.2),
but i wud say this is worth for the money, screen ,camera and music superb.
before this i was planning to take moto atrix or nokia e7 or iphone4. according to me each mob missed some specifications but GS2 has everyting,
bottom line is someone who is new to android , this ph will blow his mind with the exciting features.

twinkle, 12 Jul 2011frnds am using sgs2 now shud i continue or go for another i... more i also have a galaxy s and i bought my galaxy s2 when it first came out in the uk(australia).
i can tell you that the galaxy s2 is heaps better and it makes my old galaxy look like crap.
there are some tweaks different to the old galaxy and you can tell right away when having the phone. right now this phone is the best phone in the market period

Hi guys. I got my SGS2 2 weeks ago.
I got a problem. I cannot sync my video frommy laptop by kies. With music and photos there is no problems. When I try to sync my video it shows SelfMV2exe error
Can anyone help me? what is that is it phone problem or laptop problem?
