I had this phone now for a week and believe me I have tested and used everything, and I can say this is definitely the best. However, I still have my old HTC Desire and have noticed that it seems to recieve my WiFi in places where the SGS2 fails to connect. Looked into this and it seems the general consensus is that the SGS2 does have a weaker WiFi antenna compared to some others... looks like we really "can't have it all" :( 9/10 for me.

i've been using the s2 for 3 weeks now. Its been quite a pleasure to use it. However, recently i discovered that this app called AP Mobile, a preinstalled app was downloading a lot of data in the background. Cumulatively, it downloaded around 3.5 GB over my 3G network. Even when the refresh frequency was set at 'none', the app behaved the same way. It also ate up a lot of battery life and caused the phone to heat immensely.
I cant seem to find a way to remove this app and nor do i want to root my phone yet.
Just wanted to check whether its just me or is this problem in general. Any solutions? Help?

Stunning Phone..I never expected such a masterpiece from samsung..just love it..It's the best..Der r no issuses regarding display,sound..It's so fast..But my battery lasts only for 10hrs with moderate use..How can i improve my battery life..My S2 is just one week old..

I'm still confused whether to buy this device or not. Main concern is battery life. Some tells me it lasts 2 days, some says 1 day and you are saying 8hrs....Its crazy.
Wats the use of all those features when phone can't even stand 8 hrs?

i have had my phone for around 4 days. And i am loving this cool gadget totally.It works incredibily smooth and FAST. Fast is the keyword here. It startsup so fast, compared to other smart phones. It takes less than 20seconds. Browser is so fast. Everything about it is smooth and lagless. Interface & Colour is beautiful thanks to the superAmoled screen.Message interface is very cool too. Camera & Video produce superb quality. Games are good in the phone. Its perfect, except for the fact that with excessive usage, the battery gets drained within around 8 hours & it heats up a little. But, just a little. Does not incur much of a problem to me.
There are so many functions in the phone..Eg Kies Via Wifi,ALlshare,Voice commands etc.. It has everything that i need.. Love it.

ahmed, 07 Jul 2011that is official arabic rom also i f my galaxy s2 eu... morei don't know why people lie whats in it for them the audio playback is pretty clear and loud and gsmarena tested it themselves and said it was very good so i don't know maybe u don't like Samsung or maybe Ur songs r low quality or there's something wrong with Ur ears

Hi, I tried many times to install GPS on my galaxy s ii and was not successful. any help would be appreciated. by the way, I managed to install it in my old galaxy s easily few months back and it was very easy without any problem. TIA.
