irvinehooi, 21 Jun 2011Hi, I have few questions want to ask for help. 1. May I ... more1. May I know how can I install app / games by connecting my Galaxy S2 to PC using USB cable ??

** Download the .APK files you want to install. Connect your phone via USB to a windows computer. It will show up in Windows Explorer. Browse the phone in explorer, go to the "USBSTORAGE" folder. Copy the APK files here.

** Using a file manager (Like "Astro" from the Market) you can then install the APK packages

    2. If I have purchased some apps / games, how am I going to install them back if my device has been formatted by the service center ?? Do I need to purchase it again ??

** All downloaded and purchased apps and games from the Android Market are saved in your market account. (Your Google Account) If your phone is wiped, all you have to do is log into the market again, go to "my apps" and reinstall them. All licenses etc will be restored. No need to purchase again.

Got the phone via Letsbuy.com on June 6 in Bangalore, India. My review in 2 words: It's Amazing. Speed, display, camera, Android and overall experience makes this the best smartphone available in the market today.

For the "battery life is important" people - just get JuiceDefender or Battery Booster from the App Market and you'll get nearly 2 days of battery life with normal usage.

Overall, this is a fantastic phone - I love that the hardware is great and the software can be tweaked to your hearts content (Root, custom ROMs etc) - Highly Recommended.

Battery life specs is a pure lie. 18/8 h of talk time = impossible. Normally used it lasts for about 1,5 day, no more...

I have been using SGS II since past 20 days... !!! I swear its an awesum Smartphone... For the battery probs I would like people to suggest to get the Battery Booster available in the android market for free.... It helps as I have been using with it. After I used with the Battery booster, my battery goes for a minimum of 1.5 days with average internet and other uses.

The screen also does not show any probs, rather its clarity is too good (be it cam or video. Whoever is confused about buying this phone, I would definitely recommend them to get this BEAST asap, without ant doubt... After you get it... you will know what you got or else you will definitely miss it...

Angry birds has made me addicted ... !! SGS II Rocks.. !!! No doubt.. !! :)
Proud to be a SGS II Owner...!!

(Meaning that use the PC internet connection to download and install the apps / games) Because I don't want to use internet connection from my phone. Is that possible, can someone show me how to do it ??

                              2. If I have purchased some apps / games, how am I going to install them back if my device has been formatted by the service center ?? Do I need to purchase it again ??

                              Thanks in advance.

I tested this phone in electronic shop. After gaming a while it got heated up so bad that I couldn't even hold it in my hand anymore. Seriously I have had heating experiens before but damn this one gets hotter than any other phone out there. So I will not buy this right now. Maby later if they can fix this hardware issue.

this beast is to be released in late july with my carrier Telcel at a retail price of 10,499 MXN, thats $880 or €620 or 40k INR, looks pricey,u guys think i should buy an unlocked online?

                                        only 3 disadvantages:
                                        not qHD
                                        no camera key
                                        no zenon flash
                                        everything else and its spec-tacular
