The difference between the original Galaxy 2 and a chinese copy.....? Probablly the chinese already launched a clone for this phone.....but given the complexity of this handset,the clone is very easy recogniseble!

IMO the battery life is good than other smartphones I've used. I am surfing internet via Wi-Fi in stock browser for straight 75 minutes and battery drained about 17-18%, which is good imo. And also I have purchased an app called 'SetCPU', but I don't think it's working properly in GS II. I am quite sure battery life will get better with future firmware updates.

zia, 13 Jun 2011Update your GSII with latest firmware, 2.3.4, hope your pro... moreThere is no 2.3.4 firmware out yet for GS II. The latest just released is GB 2.3.3 KF1. Still it's not available via Kies. Don't confuse people with your wrong information.

All high end smartphones sucks when it comes to battery life. However, when we compare with any other smartphone available in the market till date Samsung Galaxy S2 and Iphone 4 is the best. Rest simply sucks every way.
Do the below to increase battery life:
1) Install "Auto Task Manger" available online in Anroid market
2) Install " Battery Saver" available online in Anroid market
3) Minimise the screens brightness. Keep as much as reqd. Higher the brighness, higher will be batter consumption.
4) Dont keep screensaver.
5) Turn off Wi-fi, GPS when ur not using it. turn it on when needed.
In that way, u will increase ur battery life by 20% to 30%
I hope my tips helps u.

Just got my new SGS2 and it's a great phone....but.....i just got some problems with it...cause it doesn't support some MP3 files and some AVI movies...which is TOTALLY weird cause it should be able to play them all.And the battery time even set to the MAXIMUM saving battery life still SUCKS BIG TIME...i mean at 7 a.m. was fully charged and at midnight same day the battery was dead already(and i used the wifi connection only to download apps for like 4 hours).It works very fast and it looks great,,,but i think this issue with NOT supporting some MP3 and AVI while it CAN actually support other MP3/AVI it makes the phone really annoying.

can any tell me about the phone... is the yellow tint and the phone getting really warmed up too much ?....... can sm1 please tell me the best way to increase the battery life of the phone..... i am getting it tomorrow.... so don't want to mess up

Thz conserves a lot f battery... My phone lasts for more than a day after a charge... The heating problem z there but not that much that u cant hold it..... Its normal heating,, not extraordiniary but it gets heated up frequently in heavy usage.....

Hi...
My GPS works really good without network connection.Still did not use with network. So I gets only Location. And No maps (Streets are not visible). Can any one Pls tell me How to get local maps to S2 without using mobile network. I mean from computer to phone?

battery life only 8hours for minimal used and 4hours for heavy used,
Motorola Atrix
Not work properly
Battery is suck,
SGS2
Motherboard heating,
yellow tint screen
only 12hrs battery life
cannot send and received text call properly
Dualcore is not the best it is a big failed smartphone, singlecore is superior without any issued.

I am getting,terrible battery backup... Last nite, it showed 53% and in the mornin, it was down to 40%... The cell was on standby mode n there were no active applications... Please HELP...

Question re calendar/organizer:
I'm close to buying this gr8 reading ph, but I heavily rely on my current organiser (palm) and need a ph that syncs well with a computer.
*How does the desktop/laptop software that the ph syncs with rate??
*Does anyone use it, and can they provide any feedback??
