This phone is not officially launched in Malaysia but this phone is already on sale by some dealers here. i checked the phone and it was imported from US..
can someone tell me what are the disadvantage of buying this phone from dealers which does not have Samsung warrenty and will i have problem in updating software in future...???

SGS2 leaves iPhone4 crying out loud in a dark corner ;)
iPhone5 completely picked up the notification feature from Android & are dubbing it as 'notification center'
Haha, I do love all gadgets, iPhone4 was the starter of this, but there's no use if you can't get it.
In India, iPhone4 is still for 40K ( :-O tht's insane !!!)

How do you Connect Samsung Galaxy S2 to the Sony Plastion 3 (PS3) through the USB, I tried it but it simply will not recognise it. What do I do, Please help

It's a true 'bang for the buck' fone :)
mild heating is there, but it heats coz of excessive CPU usage and/or GPRS usage.
On wifi, it stays cool.
But heating isn't that much of an issue.
My verdict, if you are planning to buy this Beast ... then leave your desk & go rite NOW !!! before it goes out of stock.
& It's just the beginning, this time, Samsung is the bar raiser & not iPhone :)

where should i be able to purchase the s2 and at what price? and have some doubts abt the phone and little confused after users complaining abt heating problems and yellow spots and bugs.pls someone from delhi or india users of this phone can bring light on the issuesand help .i really want to buy this phone.thanks in advance

I bought it a week ago. I love it and everything is OK! but the only weakness of this device - in my opinion - is its battery. I need to charge it daily for near 2 hours while my usage is mostly calling and around 1 hour playing games.

The phone used to hang a lot and applications used to crash. Even a single web page browsing used to crash. When ever I went to samsung centre there was always too much crowd because of there 1500 & 2000 rs phones and had to wait a lot for turn. And then when I told them the problem. They said wait for the update or switch back to 2.1.
After spending 29000 rs u get such a service, it's sick on the part of the company.
Best service is of HTC And LG, atleast that's what i experienced. (Ahmedabad , INDIA)
Won't even try any samsung product whatever it brings GALAXY S 2, 3, 4, 5 etc
If u wanna go for premium then better go for APPLE. I went for iPhone 4 instead of galaxy s 2

I too got Yello dots and tint on my Wave2 mobile. I took it to the service center in bangalore with in 10 days from the date of purchase. But they said it is normal and ignore it :(
Samsung Service Center, Koramangala, Bangalore is very bad.

there are no perfect phones but from the experiences around me I can say that Nokia and Sony ericsson are the only phones that endure for a long time

M using this since last couple of day..m from Bangladesh and purchased it @ BDT 69000 ( USD 930)..i know this is abnormal price but the phone was much expected and I couldn’t wait. Phone is looking cool. Super fast. love the display. Superb camera quality. But battery life is so poor. trying to upgrade KE7 but couldn’t .during the upgrade time it show’s “ not enough space..Need minimum 3000MB space in your device..”…another message was after downloading 20-30% “downloaded file error”….m still trying. Android version is 2.3.3 but why not 2.3.4…Sammy calls this is the best but why didn’t they put the latest one..Funny….anyway overall good but not the best……Anyway could anyone please advise me regarding upgrade….?..m in lots of pain regarding upgrade…

I preordered the phone on letsbuy and have not heard from them.
Tried calling customer service a few times but no one ever seems to pick up the phone.
If this phone is available June 9th the Pre order would be a total waste of time and money for me.
