MOAI 2.3.4 was released after galaxy s 2 or i think a week b4 so they didn't have time. And you can't upgrade galaxy s one to 2.3.4 not oficialy anyways.

hey guys ,ive been searching and found that some people think that the yellow tint on the screen can barely be visible.. do you think this will have any problems later on? maybe increase the size .. or maybe just disappear?? hope you can help me cause i realy want to buy this :\

But I dont want to void my warranty... moreWell flashing through Multiloader won't void your warranty, no way, I had the same feelings before, I didn't care about my warranty though, I just wanted Official firmware rather than Non Official one. But Kies kept showing that message and I got rid of it. Flashed through Multiloader, it was very easy. There is no way Warranty will be voided by flashing via Multoloader, that's I can guarantee.

samy uk, 06 Jun 2011mate despite the screen problem, I am not sure what you tal... moreLook man....2.3.4 has many bug fixs and new good things like Vedio Gtalk ... why the upgrade comes to SGS only? The new version will fix alot of 2.3.3 bugs like bat. short life. which is a main issue too......!

I can tell you that out of 3 SGS II in which i tried to look for the yellow tint on the left notification area,only one had and the other two were perfect.
on the one that had, the yellow tint was only visible on gray background at about 10% of screen brightness and also in a dark environment. the owner of the phone even disagreed with me because he can't even see it. i can confirm that this problem though it exists on some sgs ii does not affect everyday use in most cases because i) 99% of people will not use their phone at 10% brightness because the joy of superamoled plus is the brightness, ii)people don't look at gray background 24/7 on their devices.

Have u find 'Yel... moreI havnt noticed any yellow spots but the thing I noticed is that this phone heats up when on a call or playing games or browsing internet(heats up on pretty much evrything) but not a deal breaker certainly....its quite manageable but its a pity that we have to manage sumthng aftr paying tons of cash.

This Phone now really broke records with its price in Pakistan. Its selling for 57000 Prk (640 $). and its not the Low variant but Super Amoled Plus version with Exnos.. Bye bye HTC..

Is the severe heating issue is there while gaming or browsing heavily? or it heats up like normal mobile with similar specs(LG Optimis2X etc..).
If these issue is there, how these going to affect mobile in long term(3-5 years)??
Any other issues(apart from screen and heat) found??
oops.. So many questions..I have to... As I am going to invest first time good amount on Mobile...

That message you are getting is quite normal, I have had it for last one year with my Wave. But that doesn't mean that you have the latest firmware installed. Just log on to samfirmware.com and see what's the latest one available for India and Flash it via Multiloader. It's Safe, Hassle free. Just get rid of Kies, you will have more peace in life.
