AnonD-34847, 06 Feb 2013Hey bro i know much about chipset compatibility and i know ... morewhile you wait for samsung galaxy s 4 there would be many who can't afford it...this one is for them...its not supposed to play all hd games, not everyone wants that...its a pure mid range device ready to replace an equally priced older device...there are many who dont give a damn about gpu and all...all they want is a decent device...as for serious gamers i guess they would already be well aware of what they should purchase....no offence.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2013i compared it with s2 not the note 2. as for the games not ... moreHey bro i know much about chipset compatibility and i know that game developers will always keep the chipsets in mind which are used by the flagships and not by the mediocre phones like S2 Plus. I am not saying that the S2 Plus is a useless handset but i just wanna convey the message to my fellow gamers that this phone is not compatible to all new HD game titles. If one is a hardcore mobile phone gamer than he should go for the S3, Note2 or even for the HTC Butterfly with Adreno 320 GPU. And BTW what HD games one will install on this handset with such a small screen and only 4 GB of inbuilt storage available for the user as another 4 GB will be used by the OS itself on this phone. Of course one can transfer game data files to your SD card but in order to do that one will have to root his device and that will void the warranty. And probably nobody will want to do that with his new smartphone. Galaxy S2 is past and the future is coming, the almighty Galaxy S4. Anxiously waiting for it.

In reality i have tested the games Asphalt 7 and Modern Combat 4 on my brother's Galaxy Grand and the handset refuses to run these games and then i installed the same games on my Galaxy Note 2 and they are working flawlessly. So how can you tell that Mali400MP of Note2 is weaker than Broadcom Videocore 4 GPU. And no company in the world will provide a more powerful CPU or GPU on a less expensive phone than their flagships(i.e. Note 2 and S3 in case of Samsung which have Mali400MP GPUs). So clear your facts bro and benchmark doesn't exactly tells about the precise performance of the CPUs and GPUs. No offense bro.

If the GPU is BROADCOM VIDEOCORE 4, then it is useless. I mean it can't play some HD games like Asphalt 4 and Modern Combat 4-Zero hour. The processor and GPU is exactly the same as Galaxy Grand. Don't go for this mobile if you are a gamer.

Its having same Brodcom chipset, CPU and GPU (same as that of Galaxy Grand).
Brodcom GPU is better than S2 GPU (Quadcore Mali 400)
other things are same like 8 MP camera front camera
So price will be lesser compared to S2 I9100

whats the big difference b/w s2 n s2+ ?? other than internal memory i.e 16gb in s2 n 8gb in s2+,ther is no other diff i can see here.
