raka, 03 Aug 2014I"m going to buy a smartphone should i go for grand 2 ... moremy s4mini works just fine,overall it is better than grand2.camera and video is comparable to xperia Z.grand2 camera is very bad.i will go for s4mini rather than grand2 unless u need a bigger screen and a dual sims.

They called me and suggested a reset. Which I did but issue still persisted. So I mailed again. They ask me to take to a service Center. That would mean me being without a phone for weeks.
I rather just endure till I find a phone worth replacing it with.

I... moreWhy dont you guys mail Samsung Tech support and see what they have to say about it.
Kitkat is official for i9192 so they should support any problems you face.
Just drop a mail and post their reply. May be you will get a fix.

My dual sim keeps resetting and asks for the pin. Ok I get that the pin needs to be put in each time but why is it doing this. Starting to not like it!

I've reset the phone twice for this issue, it seems to work after reset.......however after I load my contacts and re-install apps, issue starts.
I've resorted to hitting the option button and tapping "Copy to dialing screen" then use the sim I want.
However........it is annoying.

An issue...
While calling, there was the option to "select sim" in android older version. After upgrading to kitkat, this feature is not working - only we can view the title heading - select sim... The option to select a SIM below heading is missing... Really disappointed... Please advise/ suggest a solution to rectify this problem...

Battery life: 1-2%per hour while doing nothing(100%quickly drop to 99% that doesnt cout it here)
Gaming performance improved( system lag didnt go entirely but not much as before 1-2 second i guess)
Licence check on gaming while playing offline(except some game from gamevil)
i might unroot it if general review of kitkat is way positive ..but i love my phone since i soft rooted it(still able to unroot with safe warranty)

I work in Germany and live in Austria so I drive over the border often, I also travel a lot in my job. The s4 mini duos seemed like the right tool for the job. How wrong can I be, this phone continously looses the network connection and I have to do a restart almost every day, even when just sitting on my desk it will sometimes lose the network. Apart from that I like the phone but it is of no use to me in this state, so unless there is a fix for this problem I will consign it to the Trash Bin and get something else.
