i also want to buy s4 active but lg optimus g pro has attract me with it 5.5 inch display.i dont know what to go for can you advice me.And i drop phones alot so will the lg overcome drop damage or the s4 active.

What's reason cam... moreThe camera is worse than the original S4, as original S4 is using a 13Mega Pixel sensor, with different optic.
However, I can't comment on the battery life.
Every flagship phone sucks at battery life.
Well, there are better battery life phone, but those are just slightly longer on normal usage.
With the more powerful CPU, along with higher resolution screen, the battery usage is pretty drastic on every new phone.

I am from Malaysia too.
I remember the phone is getting the KitKat update on June last year, which is almost late by half year from official Android release.(
The phone has been stable so far on KitKat.

Im from Philippines. For after a year of having this phone I finally got my 4.4.2 update last weekend. Now my phones quite faster than the 4.2.2 build. But the battery endurance is still the same.

I still cant update my phon... moreyes.. it really depends where and when was your phone was really. if your phone is from vietnam OTA for kitkat is already available. for korea nxt mo. see at the back and remove the batt you will see from what country it is made from and check the firmware version as well

You don't have to wait Bangladesh version.My country is Turkey, there is no Turkish Lollipop version, but I downloaded the German version in My Samsung s4 active. Now, I am using German version in my phone properly.
You have to check from Sammobile website for available Lollipop version. After that you will need Odin 3.0.7 or higher and Samsung USB drivers. Please check the Internet correct firmware upgrade procedures.

Reverted back to kitkat i9295xxcune4. Lollipop was not a good experience although battery life was longer
