The features in samsung galaxy s3 are superb and the best compared to any smartphone out there at the moment but they needed to work more on the design part which is not what was expected. So I think design will be a little bit dominating factor for apple's iphone 4s or iphone5 when it releases in terms of profit or sales as compared to Galaxy s3.

The Galaxy S3 is quite a good phone spec-wise, its really on par with the latest (quad core procssor and all). The pentile Super AMOLED is not really a dealbreaker as many people seemingly make it out to be, the Galaxy Note uses pentile matrix instead of regluar RGB yet the dottiness like on the original Galaxy S is hardly that noticable, its really something you can live with. The design of the S3 is nothing groundbreaking yet its not too bad either, save for the back cover, it really looks cheapish for a flagship device. In any case I'm getting this phone when it arrives here in South Africa :)

I just got my SIII and I have to say I love it. ICS works a treat as does the new User interface. I gave my mate my iPhone as this is now redundunt. This is the best thing I have owned since 1999 when I brough my first house. My mate still prefers the iPhony but each to there own.

Look at the back side of the phone and it looks like a cheap phone.. SGS 2 looks better both from front and back side... no doubt the phone is going to give a tough competition but the phone fails when it comes to LOOKS!!

To enjoy slimness of the new galaxy, we should accept Micro sim cards.

Edit: i forgot to mention s3 support aptx too. So sound quality is expected to be superb.

Designing is no doubt its not upto the mark as we can see in other smartphones like iPhone and Sony Xperia S, but specificationwise definitely it will attract people. Moreover I don't know why Samsung never thought of desigining good desining.
Two things Samsung had to work on to beat its competitors are Hardware designing and Sound quality.
Rest we know multimedia features are very good, so Samsung is lagging just because of the designing standard which is not competitive enough to beat Lumia 900 and iPhone 4S. Lets hope Samsung will come up with very good desin.
