Weight is very important. weight should be 140 to 150 gm only or less. samsung note is good but 1.5 times heavier than s ii. i am eager to know it's weight. 12 mp camera is very good. Micro sd card slot should be on side so that it could be easily changed without removing battery.

Gpu:PowerVR or maybe the new mali ( 2x performance better)
Screen : 1280x800 Super Amoled 3 maybe 3d display, 380 ppi dentisity and 4.65 inch screen With the new lotus glass( better than gorilla )
Build : plastic 110 weight and 7.0 thickness
Os: Android Jelly Bean or Ice cream sanwdish With touchwiz 5
Camera : 12mp With optical zoom Shoot 1080p video's full hd
front facing camera:5mp and shoot 720p video hd
Memory : 3 options 16/32/64gb storage
Bluetooth: 4.0
Battery and finally : 2900 mAH

guest, 14 Dec 2011all specs are cool but missing few things.... here is what ... moreas of now they cannot make a quadcore cellphone because it will heated up easily...

Display 1080p (350 ppi)
Audio should be better than SGSII
Camera 16 Megapixels with Carl Zeiss optics & Xenon Flash
Microsd upto 64GB
Internal Storage 32/64 GB atleast
now thats what makes it perfect phone for 2012 :D

Personally, if they stick with anything below 2c 2.5ghz and a 2012-class GPU, I will be disappointed. Here's to hoping that they will pull a rabbit out of their ass at MCW or CES to make this the phone it should be. Any information until then is just uncredible speculation.

Yes pumping up specs will not improve user experience on today/yesterdays's applications, but will increase the life of the device making it future application ready! so is it worth it? to me and probably the majority of others yes. specially that "future" in mobile technology is a few months out.

Improve on the camera quality. NOT the megapixels. it doesn't make it better.
Have an option to remove crapware. if i dont use FB, i dont want it on my $800 phone.
...battery life, not a .5 Mhz processor speed increment.
Widen the media files support.
...so far, great job Samsung. Complaining out of love... ...more coming. lol. :)

i think this mobile phone will be best choice for anyone bcoz it supports 12 Mp camera,1.8 ghz processor,gorilla glass display,secondary camera 2MP,slim body.though samsung is trying to copy the design of Galaxy S3 same as that of xperia arc.But finally i think they are satisfying the customer requirement,although arc is slimmest mobile but there is no secondary camera so what's the use of purchasing such costly mobile. i think samsung should provide stylus feature as that in samsung galaxy note all other things are perfect. finally customer need to be satisfied and i think samsung will fullfil the requirements.no matter from where they are copying the features,specifications....i m waiting for samsung galaxy S3

Does it strike anyone else as odd that each time Samsung release a phone with a larger processor, it also has a larger screen?
Is this perhaps because they are hiding the fact that they have to increase the battery size?
