Not about blaming this phone, but has bought before a cheap knockoff of this smartphone which almost has identical look Seller put exact same specs as this Galaxy S3 and keep convincing this is a genuine smartphone. What it doesn't, it used an inferior LCD screen with lower resolution, much worse processor from MTK (this first taught me what MTK processor is all about), even an inferior OS skin that look similar but far less workable, no OS update. At the end, I did ask for refund as the smartphone keep factory reset itself many time until not usable, the seller unwillingly refund for me after long quarrel. After 1 year, this knockoff company went missing.

this phone is 10 usd in korea which is 13000 won.
no cracked screen with good battery.
it's a perfect beginner phone for elementary kids.

- Lineage OS 19 - based on Android 12 and optimized for performance. CPU is clocked to 1.7 instead of 1.4 (stock)
- Great for music - VLC, Spotify
- Good for internet - little RAM prevents opening large number of pages
- removable battery - cheap battery
- Great for reading books too - ReadEra works perfectly

I just love the SIII lineup. I own and still use both normal SIII and SIII mini. Other as my main phone and other as work phone. Even though I have over 50 different phones to use and modern phones like S22 Ultra and a iPhone 12 Pro Max. I just love the design of SIII and also Android 4.1-4.3 JellyBean, it has been my favourite Android version since I got my SIII. Even though I am a Windows Phone lover, I still love the 2012 era of Samsungs. Pretty much the golden age of smartphone development.

I9300, 13 Sep 2023You Could Just Root Your S3 & Install Latest Android 13... moreNo need to root like my Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 but I'm currently using it with Lineage OS 19 which is equivalent to Android 12 and I'm happy that it's stable.

Still Great As Backup Device With Stock Android 4.3 For Basic Stuff It's Good In 2023. I Did Tried Most Custom ROM But Battery Backup Doesn't Seem To Be Great, Back To Stock Is Good "Old Is Gold".
