Samsung have released v4.3 for the UK users. Read the complaints first on GSMArena's Home Page before you start crying 'When is 4.3 coming to ........?'. The update is a complete mess; you update at your own risk! Stay on v4.1.2

I know that a lot of you will ignore this warning, and you have the right to do whatever you wish with your own phone; but when you start complaining about the mess it has made to your phone then I will be posting the reply "I told you so!" to a lot of people.
My S3 is staying on v4.1.2

Sony Xperia SP is faster and more efficient than Galaxy S3. My Xperia SP scored 20772 points on ANTUTU benchmark were as Galaxy S3 only got 17900 point. I'm saying SP more efficient because it beats S3 even SP is just a duel core, thanks to the Snapdragon S4 pro chipset. The phone is butter smooth to use with no nonsense battery drain problems. Those who are confused between SP & S3, SP is the obvious choice.

I am currently using the same phone. However, it cannot be switched on and the light at the back is still on even when i remove and put the battery again. What can be the problem

M asking ... moreIts 50-50 at the moment, Looking at the way Samsung has released 4.3 update for S3 with very few S4 features and laggy OS i don't we'll get 4.4. All other brands like Sony,Htc and LG has already promised 4.4 update schedule and Still selfish Samsung doesn't. I think they will provide 4.4 after releasing Galaxy S5, so even though they've decided to provide update for S3 it will be in the last quarter of 2014.

I upgraded my S3 (Vodafone RO) and I can tell you that since than my device is making me all kind of "suprizes":
- doesn't react to right side button
- the screen freezes
- almost each app is getting freezed some time to time
- my contacts list is not showing up everytime
- and so on...
The 4.3 is not stable at all....

I remember having Samsung omnia i8910, an amazing phone, with an amazing screen and specs, which was way ahead of it's time. What was the problem? lack of support and updates by Samsung which left all the phone owners frustrated.
Samsung galaxy s3 was the second time i bought a Samsung phone, and once again, it seems like they moved on and forgot about the phone, as if they do not care about previous models.
One thing is for sure. Will never buy a Samsung phone, or maybe even a product again.

Is samsung galaxy s3 is up gradable to kitkat os. M asking this question why because it has only 1gb ram. n for up grading to kitkat os ur phone should require atleast 1.5 gb ram. so is this true.
