They just want more sales for Galaxy Gear irrespective of Customer satisfaction. First they make us wait for more than 1 year then this ridiculous 4.3 update{that too only few S4 features) . Not only this even so many Galaxy S4 users are complaining about battery swelling problems and overheating issues. At this rate I don't think they'll stay as No.1 in the smartphone industry.

Over the last few weeks Samsung has been slowly rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to a
number of its flagship handsets, which can take a while to reach all end users especially those
owning carrier branded devices, but now the Samsung Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update problems may
cause a delay to the firmware spreading to more regions.
A week ago we brought you the news that the Android 4.3 update had begun its journey around the
world to the Galaxy S3, and more recently we heard how the new firmware had reached more regions.
Now though there are some users that have already downloaded the new software that are
complaining of having issues since downloading and installing the operating system. It seems to
affect the lockscreen on the device with it lagging when some users press the home button.
There have also been some users complaining about their alarm not working now as well as a patchy
Wi-Fi connection that is really slow once it does finally connect. Others have complained about some
apps not working correctly now along with higher than usual battery consumption.
Now there are no way in verifying if these users have downloaded the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
release for their Samsung Galaxy S3’s, but if these problems become more widespread it could cause
Samsung to put the brakes on the rollout of the firmware.
We recently heard that the same update was ready to be rolled out for the Galaxy Note 2 after the
firmware was seen at a Samsung service centre, and if these claims are accurate this update could
also see a delay.
At the time of writing the Android 4.3 JB update hasn’t reached the UK yet after we checked our
unlocked version of the Galaxy S3 this morning, but hopefully there isn’t any issues with the firmware
and more regions will get treated to it in the coming few days and we have had one reader that
claims to have received the update via Verizon Wireless, but this can’t be verified.

i heard about
problems with the Android 4.3
update, especially on Galaxy S3,
and it seems to involve the UI
becoming unresponsive when you
get a phone call.

jj, 08 Nov 2013S3 of course!!! S3 is the best... Could somone knew how I can make the additional language app I've already downlode in my s3 work. (ginger bread app for Thai ). I asked the store i puchased my phone n call samsung support line with no luck. It might b someone out there that can help me. Thank you in advance.

NEXUS 5 is made by LG and I used to have LG "Viewty" and many other LG models.I never thought of going back to LG (unless I won the competition from LG, which I have entered many times cos of my LG TV) Drop us a line or so once you have it. I have NEXUS 7 by ASUS, pretty damn good!

s3 most suitable for gaming because it have large internal storage for gaming storage in obb file...and good processor than sony sp which are quad core for s3 and dual core for sony sp.....s3 screen amoled and sony bravio....

Touchwiz doesn't feel like a wiz at all.
Mostly my I'll be going back to HTC when i'm ready to upgrade.
There have a much better UI.

having had this phone for 6 months (May 2013), i have just this last few days developed serious problems with it......it just wont charge or hold a charge anymore....i am lucky to get 2 hours out it!
has anyone had the same problem? any suggestions as how to fix it?

Pranay, 10 Nov 2013Should i go for galaxy s3 or xperia sp....which phone has b... moreIf your major concern is for gaming then go for Xperia SP as its running Adreno 320 GPU which has better performance for Gaming and also not to forget Sony has already promised Kitkat 4.4 for SP around 1st quarter of 2014.I'm not saying S3 is bad for gaming but I'd recommend SP due to its awesome Design and LED.
