Pranay, 10 Nov 2013Should i go for galaxy s3 or xperia sp....which phone has b... moresp stronger but more thicker. s3 is slime, if i have the money now i will buy Xperia SP. sony use Snapdragon processors, it's more power, also the SP had fantastic light and butter quality, samsung s3 poor quality.

first of all I want to say im using this phone since a year now and I got to say please dont judge this phone just like that without knowing the actual problem
1 Battery isuues - if your phone is is taking long hours to charge its because of the its usb cable or probably you guys dont know how to use a android device I faced this problem a couple of months ago and I realised because of improper use and if you had factory reset or upgraded degraded your phone thinking its the software your wrong you need to give android batterys time to set and get used to after a couple of weeks the phone battery and the software will sync in and it youll see improvements
2 heating issues in this phone do happen but its basically the sad network your service provider has to offer use wifi instead of 2g you ll feel better all phones have heating issues so thats no big deal even my iphone5 heats up thats no big deal
But overall its a fantastic phone from day 1 no regrets whatsoever awsome battery life even after 2 years the phone is kick@$$

Touchwiz doesn't feel like a wiz at all.
Mostly my I'll be going back to HTC when i'm ready to upgrade.
There have a much better UI.

Thanks for the link, but I'm not prepared to root my phone just to get rid of that KNOX spyware.
That sounds a bit contradictory because I've been moaning about it, but just lately I have been thinking of dumping Samsung anyway and I have now ordered a 32Gb Nexus 5.
I have had Samsung phones since my i9000 back in 2010 and I have watched Touchwiz getting bigger and BIGGER with every Galaxy version. Take a look in the app drawer and tell me you use more than 50% of the apps forced upon us.
Regular readers will know that I also have a S4. I'm lucky if I have 800Mb left out of 2Gb of Ram, and just over 9Gb of memory out of 16Gb. Ridiculous!
I recently installed Smart Launcher on my S3 and use it as the default launcher. It is amazing how fast it is compared to Touchwiz because it isn't a memory hogger.

For all those having battery charging issues.
Listen.
Mostly in this case , battery is fine , cell phone is fine , charger is fine , THE PROBLEM IS with that charging cable.
CHANGE THE cable , ok , try using some good quality cable ,
your problem will be solved !

in india KNOX is there in 4.3? and knox is there we insall non market apps like Android 4.1.2 or not, should i update 4.3 or stay with 4.1.2 anyone reply me!

S... moreWell, the Nokia 720 is maybe a little newer than the s3, but the s3 is a former top model, so it will still keep getting new updates and new software versions, and it is faster than the Nokia 720. but it really depends if you want windows phone or android? if I were you I would go for the s3 :)

Any Idea when 4.3 wud release in India? And as far as I know the KNOX app is not included in 4.3 update so it shudn't be a prblm..pls confirm

No, v4.3 makes your problems worse. The battery drains even faster; and the KNOX app allows the NSA to track your phone wherever you go.
