anyways i finally found a solution for those who uses the stock messenger and are annoyed from that one indicator:
Settings > Application Manager > All > BadgeProvider > Clear Data
then a restart will do the work.
it worked for me.

I disable it and uses Go SMS Pro as my default.
For me it's better and it can be customize with themes and backgrounds. It has private inbox option so that your confidential messages are hidden in case your friend sneak on it.

hi my phone reset on its own very 5 secs . i did a factory reset by perssing the home key and the volume up key ,. it worked fine for 10 mins and again its the same issue . when i put the phone of charging the screen just binks with the battery symbol on it . can any one assit me what to do . thanks guys .

Can you pls guide how to clear... moreyou can clear the RAM by pressing the home button for few seconds till a list of the opened apps appear. you'll find three icons at the bottom choose the left one. another list with the active apps will appear and at the top of the screen you'll find RAM chose it and click on clear memory.
but i am afraid this won't clear the messages indicator i have the same problem and nothing could get rid of it! sorry

i have the same messages indicator problem for over 3 months now and nothing works.
clearing the RAM, Restart, software update, all fails to make that annoying thing goes away!
i have googled the issue and found many users faced the same issue and nothing seems to fix it!

Again you are talking about over charging, that is a thing of the past.
Latest technology provides protection against over charging.
Not even a nano-ampere will cause over charging of modern smartphones.
Battery life depends on how often it was discharged and charged not by over charging (refering to modern smartphones).
But for environment sake, please unplug the charger from the outlet once the battery is full.
Save electricity, save mother earth...

i am getting iphone 4 16gb for 23k
and galaxy s3 16gb for 25k

They go from wall charger to car charger back to wall charger. The only time the phone is not plugged in is when they are on the move in public.
But I guess it must just be coincidence that about 2 people i know like that have battery problems and it has nothing to do with there changing practice.
Or the heat that is generated by doing that.
Yes damage from a little over chargeing will not be noticed but did the person that original ask the question say how much over charging they were asking about?
