WELL, maybe usable moreso for all the other larger screen offerings and specs, than actually as a regular phone for out and about. I certainly was regularly checking out if the note 2 ever came into my monthly price bracket (the note 1 just seemed to vanish from monthly contracts; almost as quick as it arrived)

I'm more interesting toward Note3 now. I tried work mate's Note 2 and awesome! It's more professional touch than S3.

            S3 vs S4

I tried out the new S4, and quite frankly I don't consider it very good value for money compared to the price of the S3.
            Pros:
            The CPU runs at 1.9Ghz (S3 1.4Ghz)
2Gb RAM (Really runs fast. The extra memory is a bonus).
            13Mp camera which is breathtaking!
            Cons:
Far too expensive when compared to the S3.
Too many Samsung apps preinstalled, which few people will ever use.
The battery life is DIRE compared to the S3, even though it is bigger.

If I was starting from scratch then I would go for the S4, but if I already had a S3 then I wouldn't bother upgrading. That sounds contradictory seeing as that is what I have done, but I got the S4 at a ridiculously low price, as you know.

            @ Anthony

The dialer and contacts load instantly on the S4, it really is a joy; but I'm not sure if this is down to Android 4.2 or whether it's the extra RAM installed.

Try telling folks it was like only a few years ago and today that we made our toys ourself....out of boxes and string and ...oh yeah imagination and fun. Sometimes i think tech is lost on younger folks. Angry at the childhood they maybe didnt have. Either that or hes very imatture.

Yeah, he's a laugh a minute, isn't he. He's the type who blames everyone else or his problems in life. It's never his fault of course.
I shudder to think what would happen if he missed the school bus in the morning. His teacher would really suffer for that (again, not his fault).

AnonD-120709, 06 Sep 2013Is it possible to transfer apps to SD card as i couldn't fi... morehi, the short answer is no, you cannot use apps on the sd. However theres 3 options. I believe if you root you can do this. Secondly....and these options may not appeal. Download "app backup and restore". When you backup apps it puts the apps on the sd card...however it only a copy and so you could delete apps of the phone that you dont use much. I tend to do this with apps that i have noticed stay open in the running services list (goto settings, app manager and swipe to the running list). That way my theory is i have some more ram when i play a intensive game(not so sure if this helps or not since android is supposed to free up ram when needed). At the least this frees some space on your phones memory by saving the apps to sd. Having 2gb on phone memory maybe down to 1.5gb free also allows phone to run better...less lag. Another important thing is to press home from time to time and close all running apps that are not needed. Lastly a clear way to do what you are asking (which also has the problem of apps not working whilst on the sd card is to go to file manager. Any apps like games can be moved. I go into the android folder on phone memory and then obb, data folder and then move the games to the same folder on external sd (you may have to create one of the folders in android folder on the external sd. The games always work when moved back to phone.

Also can you guys suggest a good task killer so that the phone works without any lags. The ram consumes a lot in Background that makes the phone laggy.

Is it possible to transfer apps to SD card as i couldn't find the option. I have tried "App to SD " and " Backup and Restore" it shows "sd card might be emulated or not available".
