Hello my name is brian, im using galaxy s3 , but after I updated my phone last night now I cannot stard up my phone.
my phone just stuck on screen that samsung logo, and its said
E : failed to mount data,
what can I do????

The answer to that is NO. If you update your phone through Kies or OTA then the binary count stays at zero and you will receive any further updates, but if you flash the phone yourself the binary count increases by one, and you wont.

Hello to everyone,
I live in India, n I just received a software update on my S3 I9300 which already runs on 4.1.2.
After upgrading my phone, I didnt find any significant changes except a red colored 'Play Movies' icon in the apps section,
If anyone knows what other updates did this upgrade make to the device, please post it ASAP,,

Mimi, 05 Aug 2013the display is gone, i dont know its LED or LCD :(That's just unreal to get S3 screen broken that easily!
Check make sure ur S3 is not fake (there are fake S3 out there and just look so real)
You might as well save the repair cost toward buying new phone. try sell your broken S3, if it's genuine S3, it will still worth something.

U should go to the Samsung store at any super market in SA. Approximate amount of money to replace the display is US$250.00 so convert it against your local currency. If you do not know the rate of USD, pls visit yahoo finance to know the rate.
