i have tried every fucking rom out there and the best for battery life is the last official samsung firmware jelly bean 4.3 i easily get 4:30 h screen on time. if you are not getting at least 3:30 hours screen on time you should consider get a new battery , you can buy the original or an extended one , both are really cheap. good thing compared to the moto's or xperia phones where you cant remove the battery.

this is the worst phone battery time is worst it says 1 gb ram it is 831 mb of ram
i thnk motorola is the best becuse moto is half in price and have better perfromence and is uptodate it is still stuck in 4.3

I never put my phone down. And I use screen protector and back cover.... it is nearly three years I m using this phone. But side bezels are coming off. Silver coating gone and black is seeing of. It is really looking ugly. Whether any way to paint silver coating. Waiting for replies.

Best Phone Ever
Sound quality is unmatched, only downside is only 1GB ram. i ran CM11 on it for years, but its started to get really laggy due to Ram limitations. Now i have resurrected it with a debloated Android revolution HD Rom, boeffla kernel and roehsoft ramexpander overclocked to 1,7ghz. The phone now has 1GB swapmemory and is blistering fast, no more hangs.
Screw cyanogenmod for not being compatible with roehsoft ramexpander. that software saved me from buying a new phone and the tedious search to one with good and loud sound. S3's are awesome walkmans

Several problems. Within 18 months I already had to send it back to be fixed as the screen just blacked out and I could not use the phone. Since then, the battery life has been very poor, I am lucky if i get 3 hrs use out of it before it dies. The screen blacks out constantly, sometmes the phone does not tell me when I have had a call or message, sometimes in the middle of doing something it just shuts down. Now it has a problem charging. It will not charge with any wall charger, and I have tried several. It will only charge with the cable plugged into a usb port. Charging takes forever, and it constantly stops charging. Most of the other features are great, but when you get to the stage of reading 3 text messages, answering two of them, and having one 5 minute call in a day and the phone is practically dead by 4pm, it is a bit much. I have never seen such poor battery life in a phone. Not impressed at all.

I have been using this phone for 3 years. first i instal CyanogenMod 11(based on kitkat). it was very good rom. Then i tried CyanogenMod 12(Lollipop) and did not like it. Switched to Ressurrection Remix(5.1 Lollipop). at begining it was fast, but after some time it got slower and slower. after few factory resets i got sick of it so decided to switch back to kitkat and find SmartROM 1.2 (kitkat 4.4.4). I LIKE IT A LOT! :) (features from note 4, s6, lg g4, slow motion and timelapse video recording...) useing it now for 3 days. so far sooooo goood

arnel, 19 Nov 2015how i fix my s3 it connect to wifi then the link speed is 7... moretry factory resetting your phone and possibly installing a new rom (cm for example)
there might be issues with the antenna or even os itself. let me know how it goes
