If it's a toy you wanted not to feel board, then why didn't you buy a toy. Smart phones are not the best buy when you want something to play with.

        My experiences:
First all this is the best phone I ever had
Now guys...try to avoid buying s3 at this moment..I was informed at service centre of samsung by a known guy to me that samsung may mix some faulty phones with perfect phones because we all know s4 is out and samsung producing more s4 rather s3 and sell their faulty s3 too...people dont pay attention to this as samsung continuously slashing prices of s3.

I also bought a s2 last year when it was on the verge of discontinuity...but I bought as I wanted to have s2 and also due to less prices at the end...believe me guys it was a faulty s2 and I sold it with a month and immediately had a s3...so avoid buying s3 at this stage..

Note: buy s4 after 2 months atleast so that samsung can fix all bugs in between...cheers

AnonD-117428, 16 May 2013should i go for nexus 4 or s3 and why.? plz reply asap...S3 all the way.The Nexus will get faster updates and is a Google device...but its hardware is only good on paper.S3 is proven quality and its lightning fast..Not to mention it will have a higher resale value in a year or 2 when u decide to sell it.ANd dont forget developer support...even IF Samsung doesent update...Cyanogenmod will.

AnonD-117428, 16 May 2013should i go for nexus 4 or s3 and why.? plz reply asap...I have the S3 and my brother has the Nexus 4. I recommend getting the Nexus 4 because of the price. But if power and looks are more important to you, go for the S3 or better yet, S4.

Nexus 4 8 GB costs $370 (Canadian) including shipping & Taxes. That is a steal in my opnion.

                      Battery Hour:
Average battery life: 72 Hours (usage varies based on phone use)

                      Dimension: Length: 13.9cm / Width: 7.3cm / Thickness: 1.6cm

We cannot guarantee that you will receive more than double the battery life. The amount of additional battery you will receive depends on a variety of factors that are different for every user

Dee™, 16 May 2013Freefaller™, Anthony™ I started charging the battery again... moreNot 100% sure what you are asking but the LED only lights when the screen is off
So with the phone is off but you are looking at the battery image on the screen, the LED will not come on till the screen goes off again.
The LED works that same way if you are charging with the phone powered on.

Other than that all I can say is use the phone till the battery is dead and powers it’s self off, then charge it to full with the green LED again.

If you use the phone the same way you normally do and get an average of 3 times more user time over the old battery, I would say every thing is ok.

I started charging the battery again today but when I turned on the charger with the phone off, the phone indicated 100% and the LED still off. It wasn't 100% charged when I stop the other day. After awhile the phone shown Green LED. Is the battery gonna be alright?

(this below is enough to give folks nightmares, from.wiki lithium batteries)

                                  Recalls

In March 2007, Lenovo recalled approximately 205,000 batteries at risk of explosion. In August
2007, Nokia recalled over 46 million batteries at risk of overheating and exploding. [117] One
such incident occurred in the Philippines involving a Nokia N91 , which uses the BL-5C battery.
                                  [118]
In December 2006, Dell recalled approximately 22,000 laptop batteries from the US market.
[119] Approximately 10 million Sony batteries used in Dell, Sony, Apple, Lenovo / IBM, Panasonic ,
Toshiba, Hitachi , Fujitsu and Sharp laptops were recalled in 2006. The batteries were found to
be susceptible to internal contamination by metal particles during manufacture. Under some
circumstances, these particles could pierce the separator, causing a short-circuit. [120]
In October 2004, Kyocera Wireless recalled approximately 1 million mobile phone batteries to
                                  identify counterfeits . [121]

and below is what was on the maintenance card.
                                      1. charge batter for 12 hours prior to initial use.
                                      2. for optimal performance, perform 5-6 full recharge / discharge cycles for all new batteries.
                                      3. Use only original battery charger to recharge.
                                      4. recharge battery once every month.
                                      5. keep battery away from metallic objects.
                                      6. Do not crush the or dispose battery in fire.
                                      7. please deplete the battery to 2% every time before recharge for optimal use.
                                      8. please keep battery in room temperature and avoid extreme temperature changes.
                                      9. keep dark color material away from white color case.
                                      10. Gently use a wet cloth to wipe dirt from case.
                                      11. use wiping alcohol to remove dark coloring from white case.

(by the way it does not take 12 house to charge to 100% because from dead at about 9pm i got up at 5am and the light was already green.

This pair just had what i mentioned...and i believe something like its best to keep the battery inbetween 5% and 95% when in regular use...similar to what Anker say on amazon. Anyway it made me feel better that a little overcharge wont apparantly cause any damage. LOADS of lithium batteries were recalled not that long ago....mobile batteries....at least wikipedia mentions that. So the safety measures inside are genuinely for a reason.
