When his friend ask Samsung Service about this, they said this unit should be replaced on the motherboard and ask him paid for around 1.600 in US Dollar.

I love my S III, I don't have problems with it. I had it since December of last year. I had it over charged for about 7 hours and when I unhooked it from the charger it froze, I simply did a hard reset on it and it worked fine until now. Doing a hard reset is pressing the on/off button until the phone turns off completely...

Hard reset puts the phone back to its factory settings and removes your data.

AnonD-128708, 10 May 2013thanks a lot.........lg optimus 4x hd has autofocus issues, which you can find all over you tube. There was an update to fix this, but it wasn't put out in all countries at the same time, and also it depends on the networks also impementing the update. So, optimus 4x is a big risk in comparison to sgs3.

1)lg never give updates to their device
2)lg 4x hd is too out dated phone
3)if u want to go in lg go for lg optimus g
4)there are many devs available in market for s3 than lg thus u have efficient use of ur smartphone.
5)cam of s3 is far better than lg 4x hd
6)by buying samsung samrtphone u get s features(s voice,multi window,smartstay..etc)
7)s3 is planned to get s4 features in near future..
so i would suggest close ur eyes and go for s3..

xperia sp beats s3 on various benchmark test conducted by gsm arena..
Although sp is dual core but have more powerful gpu,better body than s3.
so should i go for sp or s3..?

Why doesn't my Samsung Galazy s3 work inside my home? I do have aluminum siding which may interfere with reception. If that's the case, why pay so much for not service?

It vibrates so you are still powering on.
Maybe you can still get to the booth loader.
If you are able to see in the booth loader you can load a stock ROM back on to the phone.
If you can’t even get into the booth loader, you have hard brick the phone. And will need a new mother board.

i don't even know how you can get into the booth loader to load a new ROM from a PC.
he is going to have to call HTC repair centre.
why did he take the battery out during a ROM update? i don't get it.

dude when we press the power button of the phone.. it doesnot switch on the screen.. just it vibrates 4 times and then nothing happen...
