I noticed this morning that when you pull down the notification bar at the top of the screen and press down on one of the icons for a second the phone goes to the settings for that action.
i.e. Press down on 'Mobile data' and it goes straight to the settings for Mobile Networks.
My question is.. When was that introduced? Was it ICS or JB? I have a Galaxy S WiFi mp3 player that was never upgraded past GB and it isn't available on that.

i am planning to buy s3 within this week. i only want to know about this phone is that it has only 1 gb ram as compared to note 2 which has 2 gb ram. does s3 gives any problems due to its 1 gb ram? pls rply

Sync contacts, calendar and task with google
Sync sms, mms with Samsung account
Backup whats app from the chat settings
Any data on the SD card is formatted.
So copy other things that you need there.
Paid apps from play store are stored in (playstore>menu>my apps) for free re-download
What more do you need to backup?

Please guys how to restore my galaxy s3 with out losing my data. cause now the mobile is always stopped and i have to remove the battery and open it again.and i dont want to format i dont want to lose the data.
