of course. you can't compare a quad-core smartphone to an old iphone. iphone 3g only has 400+mhz and iphone 3gs has 600mhz. galaxy s3 has a quad-core processor @ 1.4ghz, of course it eats up the battery very fast.

Amazing mobile! Brilliant screen, audio quality is outstanding. I installed Walkman , but inbuilt music player is better than that.

There's no "local" version for us, we get the quad core one. I'm buying one too, this April, this phone is great! And it'll become cheap after S4 is released. S3 isn't incompetent when compared to S4. It's undeniably behind, yes, but it's still fully competent. I'll buy an S5/S6 instead a year or two from now :33

hi...I cant figure out whatss wrng wih my s3...I gt it a month back...I could connect a mini usb to a my sandisk usb drive and watch movies from the drive.but now it just shows usb disconnected/connected whenever I connect it...I cant see the folders...some1 please help

Had this phone for about 4 months.
At first, it's a good and especially fast phone, feeling flimsy at built quality (although it looks well built it's all plasticky)
After 4 months it began with weird screens (lines) and failing thettering, failing GPS.
Reset the phone to factory did not help at all, tried new rom, no success, sold the phone.....
Done with it.

sandeep mandal , 11 Apr 2013hey fella , ur rite , m using 3 services past 5 yrs on payg... moreyeah true, sounds great.....no idea if your uk or not...but tethering is a real issue now, as most companies have started to charge extra monthly with the exception of tmobile charging for monthly tethering- at least not from the site i bought my sgs3 from. However for myself, after a day and a half of using the phone i've found out that we are having real signal problems in this area....even 2 of my libraries have crap wifi right now. Thank God tmobile just started downloading their normal speed for about 40mins..so now i've got a few games to play on the tv "Repulze" (a wipeout like game) and "cracking sands lite".
A heads up to UK folks...t mobile will not stop you browsing fb and email, and most web pages even if you go over your mgb limit, and nor will they charge you. On top of that, i know that they also allow downloading at off peak times for my girlfriend if she goes over her limit. So in effect it can be seen as practically unlimited data with some conditions. They should advertise it better.

For me the phne is run... morehey fella , ur rite , m using 3 services past 5 yrs on payg . and its the best for £15 i get unlimitted internet. i have a s3 32gig . its speed is much better than t-mobile . . i have used the sim on a htc , SE-z and note 1 and 2 all the phone gave me good internet speed , thanks samsung and 3 mobile for the good service.
