Dont buy this phone! i have 6 months with mine and the last week it just died.. i was using it normally without any modification and it sudendly turn off and wont start! its useless.. i dont know what happened to it but i dont recommend it to anyone!! how is it possible to this kind of product have this issue!!!

Hi guys i hve just bought dis phone d battery drains too quickly nd wheneva i plug it to rechrge instead of charging d battery strts to drop nd dn wen i disconnect nd connect d charger again dn it chrges nd in between if i do something on d phone dn again d battery strts to drop wid d charger still on can ne1 tell me wats wrng plss reply asap

It a Korean version it only avilable 2g, so internet speed is very slow can i upgrade it to 3g

Hi everyone, i got my new S3 last week. Really lovely phone BUT... When i shut it down and then ON it doesn't connect to wifi and says "obtaining IP address". I tried many ways to fix it but none works permanent. Really annoying issue. Something similar also happens with "data mobile". When enable it maybe it doesnt starts and needs to restart the phone to start working. Anybody has any ideas why these are happening and how to permanently fix? Thank you very much

Love this phone, had a Samsung Nexus before and it died.
Got the Samsung 19300 Galaxy S III 32 GB and love it, the only problem I have is the battery life, I don't think the numbers given are to reliable.
But apart from that it is a nice phone to use and I didn't need a user manual to work it out :)

Can anyone plz tell me how to update xperia sola to ICS cuz I have checked alot on the phones update center and also via pc companion it says that ur device is up to date while I have android 2.3.7 and build number is 6.0.B.3.184. Plz help and aslo tell whether the ICS update is good or not? Does it consumes more ram or slows the phone down? Or is smoother then Gingerbread? Thnx

After you did the update, did you clear your cache and hard reset the phone?
Or did you just try to use it with driver version conflicts?
Do you recall reading about backing up your phone before upgrade encase of problems? What do you think that ment?

It's a big difference.
Btw which nokia runs apps side by side and floats the video player at the same time like the SIII. That's viewing 3 apps simultaneously. (If you dont like the SIII that fine. But you have to be joking to say nokia is a better multi Tasker. )

Ok guys, there is serious issue with SIII. I bought one from Malaysia in July 2012. It was just amazing and now since last update it started to FREEZE. I googled and found its happening all over the world and Samsung is not responding. Just google with "galaxy s3 freeze". It freezing any time, with any kind of application installed, in any frequency. Mine freezes between every 5 to 30 mins. Can GSMArena take some initiative?

I want the S3 or S4 but I'm really worried about the fact that too many people are reporting too many phone issues: excessive battery drain on standby, trouble connecting to Wi-Fi networks, freeze, crash, sudden death, and so on. Samsung's bad customer service is also in the news.

You are the real comedian w... moreya mr. comedien , the browser shuts down if you go to other application , and if you are downloding any thing/ you can' t keep the games running in background like in nokia/ you just leave any application and the appllication shuts down / this phone lags behind in multitasking compared to nokia

LOL.... please if you dont know abt multitasking on SIII then please dont comment...
Its really nice phone ever I have used.... better multitasking work ever as compared to any mobile available in any market... I have 3 SIII's in my family. And I am very happy with it.

Install VPlayer
It's a free app from the play store.
Problem solved.
Note: any file format you put on the phone thay is not supported. Just install an app that supports the format.
Doing this is the basic function of any phone that wants to be called a smart phone.
