sham, 08 Mar 2013this s3 has a major problem / this phone gets hotter on its... moreUnfortunately , I didn't test that phone , but from specs of it , I think it one of best smart phones available to day , but I thought that's ram ( when it released ) a bit low to my expected , but I knew that all competitors at the same level , so I think may be you do something wrong , may you active many apps in background , by using home key not the back key ( back for close , home key for standby )
speaking about the temperature , if your network signal is low weak , the phone will search for it , using more power what's get the phone hotter , active heavy apps , and downloading ( specially over the 3g or 4g network rather than wifi ) , and active many apps art the same time will getting the phone hotter , and remember , the phone has a large display , and quad core processor and these two are a power hungry .

Call log and contacts appears 3 to 5 seconds late on the screen it is really embarrassing infront of other brand phone users samsung needs to do something fast about this other dialers and contact apps may work fast but it is not good as samsung one is there anybody have any solution about this matter

this s3 has a major problem / this phone gets hotter on its lower side . don't know why please help/ this is really a rubbish phone/ this phone doesn't have good multitasking.

Im using Touch Pal.
Very fast.
Before that I used ExDialer.
Can't change the dialee or contacts on iPhone

Before s3 i use e71 and it was faster then s3 in some thing. I expect more... much more! I should listen frend when his told me to buy iphone...

That's an idea. I hadn't thought of that.
A... more I simple way to see if moisture is activating the capacitive screen when you are not physically touching it is to turn on “show touch” it is also good for when you have big fingers and want to see where the touch is being detected when typing.
Go to settings>Developer options… and check show touches.
To see water in action on a capacitive screen, damp the tip of a napkin and pass it on the screen you don’t even have to be holding the damp part. It’s going to register as a touch moving across the screen.
Now think what that dose with a damp screen in a pocket with lint and screen supports multi touch. Keeping the screen dry is very important on a capacitive phone. (A problem that did not exist when touch screens were resistive.)

That's an idea. I hadn't thought of that.
After reading what I had written to you I had an idea that it might be a faulty Proximity Sensor. The S3 is fitted with one because the phone uses 'Direct Call'.
I'll try your idea first and if that doesn't work it goes in for repair.
