Still waiting for 4.1.2 update in the Philippines. It was released and available only for Globe Sun and Smart. Still need to wait for an all version update.

1- Power off you phone
2- Press Volume-UP, Home button & Power button to get into the recovery mode.
3- Scroll with Volume up & Volume down keys.
4- Select Wipe-user data by pressing Power button, & Select Continue.
Wait for wiping it out. Then Again phone will reboot into the recovery mode.
5-Select Reboot phone. You have done :)

S3, 24 Jan 2013The phones DAM awesome but the battery life especially afte... moreYes Definitely, After the update of 4.1.2 jellybean or Latest Update 4.1.2 XELLA in which Samsung fixed the bootloader issue, There is a major decrease in battery life as well. When i was using 4.1.1 jellybean i simply got 6hrs on-screen time. (Sync off, Wifi constantly On, Games, Browsing, Whatsapp etc) But now Hardly 5hrs on-screen time. Usage is still the same. Not a Major impact. But seems normal.

It implements improved security & Exynos kernel bug fix. (FIXED: SUDDEN DEATH ISSUE in Galaxy SIII) Search Google & you will find majority of Galaxy SIII users suffering from this issue & having bricked devices. Which was dead suddenly. So be happy as you are safe now.

answer to the call alert change:
Press Phone Icon then bottom left soft button then Call Settings then Call alert then you can tick off check marks on alert during call and vibration.
