Just got another update 28MB from Samsung OTA over 4.1.2 firmware. I wonder what the update all about, but whatever it is...mu SGS3 run so smooth. ROCK ON SAMSUNG!

its because there is no available to your country/local operator. you can try to upgrade using a rom from the internet. I'm found a rom for him in this site http://www.smartzone.com.br/2012/12/atualizacao-android-4-1-2-samsung-galaxy-s3.html I'm using it, and have no troubles since I've done it.

I have Android 4.0.4 and every time I try to update to Jelly Bean it says 'No Update Available'. I've tried through 3G and Wifi. Any help?

kay, 24 Jan 2013i wanted to use my newly purchased phone as modem for my la... moreTethering and portable hotspot can generate a code or you can make your own. But trust me when I say it dose not lock your phone, it only makes tethering secure. And the code is random, so what is on your phone would not be on mine. The code and hotspot name is shown to you every time you tap the words (Portable Wi-Fi hots..)
I use this to shear H+ 4G with others in the car very often, so I know what I’m talking about.
If you are locked out of your phone, it means some one went into settings> lock screen and put a password on, and that is not generated by the phone. That has to be done by the user. If you don’t know what was put one, no one here will help you with that, because as far as we know you could be a thief. Take it into Samsung or your dealer with proof of perchance and have them unlock it.

[deleted post]There is nothing in (settings > more settings) to lock your phone.
If you are locked out of your phone it didn’t happen from settings, more settings.

I believe broadcommems is an a-gps service used by apps that determine your location. e.g. Maps or Weather. If you use the aforementioned widgets and the GPS cannot update the data your phone requires it will deliver the message that Maria is seeing.

i wanted to use my newly purchased phone as modem for my laptop. I went to settings then to more settings. My phone generated a code to use but when i activated the code i discovered it used the code as a security code to open my phone. After my phone had been in idle mode i tried to use it but it prompted me to enter the code but the code i had forgotten. I cant even remember it. PLiz help if u have the code. Its under settigs, then more settings. I am not sure if the code is generated under "tethering" or connection to mobile" but its there even if u havent activated it. Pliz help me with it. I am stranded
