Jason, 03 Jan 2013Thanks but i really wonder how you manage to get 14 hours i... moredear see ur usage its called heavy use of 1 hour continues browsing daily.
your phone is ok. your use is high.

phone average gives 5 hours on browsing because it has big screen
and u listen radio for an hour.

so in my eyes 1 hour radio and 1 hour continues browing with 68% is quiet perfect timing.

i am happy with my s3.

          sadun, 31 Dec 2012My s3's ram is 833MB .Is that normal?If your phone's firmware is 4.1.1
Then your RAM is 833 mb.

If you are running on 4.0.4
          Your RAM is799 mb

          The higher, the better..
Yours is normal, the same as mine after 4.1.1. Update...

AnonD-95050, 03 Jan 2013I really wud like also to understand hw u get 14hrs in one ... moreI really don’t know what to say I don’t know what is consuming your battery.
I’m using the polish 4.1.2 ROM I got from sammobile. I just got into the office so my wi-fi, bluetooth, mobile data, sound, power saving, sync, multi window, GPS and auto screen brightness are all on. Made 2 phone calls so far total 3 mins. read 4 emails and checked amazon and this web page. Skype,fb,viber and whats app is always running in the background.
I disconnected the phone at 5:13am this morning and 3h26m later it was down to 87%. battery temp is 28.0 degrees C voltage 4.105v. I’m turning off bluetooth now that I’m in the office but the rest will remain on. Ill take note of what I do today and let you know when the phone dies.

Using the fingers above that is an average drain of 3.79% per hour. I will use my phone more as the day goes along so that average will obviously not stay the same through out the day.

Note: when I installed 4.1.2 ROM, I cleared my cache partition then factory reset in that order twice before I rebooted the phone. Other than that I did nothing special. Just installed the apps I use and putting my custom settings for each one and set custom tones.

                    Question for you…
Are you using the original battery?
Are you using a case? If yes, what is the material and how thick is it? Does your cell service provider provide a strong signal?

don't worry. Sammy will soon solved your problems of frequent restarts and memory dead issues on this phone.
