S3 is just awesome. I'm using 4.1 JB S3 Premium Suite. Happy multi-tasking. This set is really cool. Best for gaming.

insomnis, 28 Dec 2012Is it recommended to update from ICS to jellybean plz.>?It works nice for me. I rooted my S3 too, and now ..... to fast to furious... ;)
I use a phone a lot, phone calls, wi-fi or 3G is always on.... e-mails.... and at night my battery is never under 30-45%. Sometimes 53% after all day. I have JB 4.1.1.....NICE!

I got GS3 LTE (but LTE switched off, not working in our region) and I have the following problems:
1. When pressing home button, it's not going back to home screen, but to another screen
2. Battery!!! I read about 7% an hour...mine is draining like mad...20% plus per hour!!!!
Advice please!!!

i have been using this model for last 2 month. battery consumption is too high .i have to charge the battery minimum thrice a day. i have been receving e mail continously for 24 hours.can you guide me how to get better service of the battery

This is the full review of today’s battery use I could be considered average for me.
Took it of the charger 100% at 5:13am and it was dead by 6:45pm.
That was a run time of 13h 32m
The breakdown is as follows...
Phone calls 6 30min 5sec
SMS 3
Email 6
Email sent 1
Some What’s app use
Tunein radio app 1hour 45min
10min of streaming video using H+
45min of Netflix using wifi
2 mp3 attachments downloads.
Play mp3 7min 27sec
Facebook & google talk in multi window mode 1 hour
Fm radio in background 1hour 30min
The rest of the time was so called idel.

AnonD-95050, 03 Jan 2013It's amazing that ur batt can last that long. Am still usin... morePerform a factory reset once. Before that take the backup of all your data. And after that install whichever apps you want and keep an eye on app running on background which might drain your battery faster.
I am using for min 2 hours of talking,30 text msg, gmail & FB synced, an hour of wifi & internet browsing. At the end of the day around 19:00 hrs I will have around 56% :-)

I uninstall da 2 antivirus installed bt still draining. I wonder whats wrong. Like at 13:40 i left the fone at 87% n at 17:40 it was 59% without any usage. I wish i cud take it back to Samsung bt i bought it in Italy last June n am now in Angola. Really strange.
