i really love this phone. the application amazing. the only thing that i really dissapointed is the loudspeaker very poor.

i cant use wifi direct properly, its working only after its factory reset and can't used again after some times. so if i want to use wifi direct i need to format everytime, and battery drains so fastly, if anyone knows how to solve this problem, plis help me. m not happy with this issue..

My S3 pros: Great screen, battery life OK, really good looking OS. My S3 Cons: Very poor loudspeaker quality, samsung apps aren't useful, no Camera key

I got this Samsung S3, and hardly used it for 2 days, I had imense problem trasnfereing my 1000+ Nokia contacts to this phone, and pairing with my PC and bose bluetooth headset was not easy, it was not detecting both, after several tries, finally could pair it, and my BT headset, I had to keep pairing evertime I used it, now to add further problems , I came to know that this phone cannot be used with KIES via bluetooth, that means I cannot send and receive messages via my PC, which I use a lot whn I had Nokia C7 Nokia Suite Software, got fedup in 2 days and gave this phone to my son, who is games crazy and started using back my Nokia C-7, Also though this phone has GPS receiver, it needs Mobile Data (internet) to download the route map, unlike nokia which works offline after u download the country maps, S3 this such an expensive phone, but does not have these basic things like Nokia !!!

Looking on the firmware sites, I can only see ICS 4.0.4 update released in Sri Lanka so I don't believe the update is available although you could flash it yourself if you know how or had a look around.

Kindly confirm, after update to JB 4.1.1, I am unable to switch the FM stations through headset pause & start button which was smoothly working in ICS 4.0.4

I've succeeded in updating my s3 to the official 4.1.2 and I've equally gotten the same look in note2 on my s3. I now have the split screen/multi Window as in note2 and many new features that are not in 4.1.1. Now my s3 is in the same capability, except from the s-pen and screen size.

If You Have Pc Connecting Issue then Upgrade your OS to Windows 7.i was Also Suffering From Same Problem but by upgrading OS i Solved my Problem Automatically.

Good news
Samsung had recently halted the roll out of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S III in India after starting it earlier this month.
However, the update is available through the Kies software, and its file size is 310MB.
