By the way, your S3 is teh US version? The US version has a weaker CPU BUT has 2Gb of RAM, which is the problem with mine international version 1Gb. The Samsung's newer Touch Wiz, simply devours the only 1 Gb available RAM, so you end up not benefitting from the stronger processing power.
Well look on the bright side: You won!! You spent your money on a cellphone you love.
I lost! I spent mine and regreted I didn't waited for a phone like the HTC Droid DNA or the LG Optimus G.
Next time you will probably spend your money happily again on the S4 or the S5 and I will only buy samsung's again if the impress and surprize me!

Just installed 4.1.1. (Vodacom South Africa)
minor differences will see how battery life goes etc. I think im typing slower although better this keyboard changed a little for the nest the buttons are slightly bigger (im not one to knsta other keyboards)
Otherwise I think LTE is enabled now?? but I haven't got LTE iny area yer. I say this cause of my apn setting has a option of how I want 3G to cross over to LTE .

GO SMS Pro used to be good; then it got bigger and bigger and BIGGER! Now it comes in at 7.7 Mb, which is obscene for a messaging app!
Handcent is only 3.2 Mb, and Pansi is even less at 2.8 Mb.
I don't like all the Permissions GO SMS Pro asks for either.

Last night i stopped all the... moreEmail will always reopen depending on how you have your email sync schedule setup.
If you want it stay off when sleeping.
Try settings your sleep times as off peak and set off peak to manual, in each email account.
I never tried it so I would like to know the results.
My phone don't get much idle time so once I'm awake I get 12-14 battery for the most. And when I'm sleeping it's plunged in.
Last time I got a day and a half on a phone with 1 charge it wasn't a smart phone. It was back in my feature phone days :)

It is a restriction within Android, and nothing to do with the phone. All Android powered phones suffer the same problem.
The only solution is to use a 3rd party messaging app such as Handcent or Pansi, which overwrite that restriction.

does anybody knows why i can not type long SMS by s3? (only 3SMS long, if it is longer converted to MMS automatically whihc is very bed.) by the way, i phone does not have this problem.
