When I upgrade to S3, I am satisfied enough and don't wanna upgrade my iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 anymore.
I seldomly use my iPhone 4, it just stay in my room waiting for my attention.
My S3 is always with me everywhere I go.
I hope my iPhone 4 will not get jealous. LOL!

I decided to check the figures myself before replying.
I found GO SMS Pro was using 15.4 MB & Pansi 5.0 Mb, so I can't agree with your findings.
What I did find though was that GO SMS Pro slowed my phone down terribly for some reason. Scrolling was jittery, and lag increased.

just because of u i uninstall my GO SMS PRO and Install PANSI SMS
but PANSI SMS takes more ram usage then GO SMS PRO
Go Sms Pro takes only 17MB Ram , and Pansi sms takes 45 to 50 MB ram ...
You can check from Setting-> Application Manager-> Running Application on right side.
i will check some days whether it puts more effect on battery rather than Go sms Pro

but it always open dude.. and either it cant be disable too i tried from ALL APP setting in App Manager.
And my issue is resolved my battery is giving me very satisfactory result on stand by takes only 3% battery in 9 hour standby. its awesome.
Just because ur Application Manager guidance.

but i am relax now my phone is working ok. it was on standby 9 hours and it used only 3% battery. i am happy with it = )
before it was taking 25% battery than i took some majors then it took 14% now 3% = )

The problem is when I try to load 5 or more tabs when browsing (which I do frequently). On the S2, even with less than the half of the horsepower (which doesn'ts mather cause it's RAM related), I could even remove (with root) the browser's tab limit, and opne more tahn 15 tabs without a glitch. On the S3, with 5 or 6 tabs, it start closing. I know I load not cellphone websites, and they're meant to be heavy loaded.
But common! Thats why I bought this phone! after having a wonderfull experience on the S2, which I frequently compared to a computer in my pocket, I thought the S3 would be even bether!
I believe the Note II (which has 2Gb RAM) might be the wonder I'm asking for, but it doesn't exists here in brazil yet...
On many tasks, the phone feels like the powerhouse it really is, but on the thing I suposedly do it most (browsing), it just keep crashing. And on this exact thing the S2 rarely offered a single problem.
For games is a completely different thing. Speaking roughly, the game app, must ask the OS to "reserve" the amount of RAM it will utilize., so the OS will even sometimes close other running apps to give that RAM to the app. So, if a game is well encoded (and any "heavy" game is, after all its developer spent millions on it) it shall crash very rarely, if it crashes at all...
Thats what I think. The S3 have great things, but compared to what it could be, compared to what the competition have done, and even compared how samsung had polished products prior to it, it pisses me off. I feel like being fooled. It is almost like as if they invested in making a great product, to create a good fan base, then start making a cheapoer product as they know everyone will buy it anyway (reminds me of Apple)...

And I know more about overclocking on PC's than I do on phone. But I will gave you a full response when I have time Sunday morning because my reply is long. And I just wouldn't do it justice on a busy Saturday. Today is for short answers, fast money, and limeing with friends when night time comes. :)

Join the club I'm on vista 64bit and getting kies to work is hit and miss (more miss than hit)
Only time I get a kies connection every time is when I connect to a 32bit xp pc.
It's a good thing I don't need kies to sync with outlook. I use moffice.
