I love my Galaxy S 3 its awsome it can handle and do anything I throw at it and each day I learn something new it can do or handle lol keeps upsetting my friends who have smart phones like Iphones and such lol cause mine is better in just about every way!!!

But typing to make a phone call and driving at the same time is not the easiest thing to do. And Svoice will only finds what it sees in the sorting names so if I can’t remember a person name I’m out of lock.
Remember I’m coming from a WM6.5 background and expect phones that are more than 3years advance to have the basics covered and improve on them.
The contacts are usable but let me explain what I think are the downfalls...
In WM contacts, you would full out the fields just as you would here and it would default sort contacts by first name or last name just as it would here. But with WM you have more sorting options on an contact by contact bases.
e.g. I could have 400 contacts sorted by first name. Then pick 2 contacts from the 400 to have sorted by company name. Pick 4 to be sorted by last name. Pick 1 to be sorted by full name & (company name). Pick 9 to be sorted company name & (full name)
So I end up with 384 sorted in alphabetical order of first name and then have 16 slip into that same order but using their custom sort settings. This makes finding a contact by scrolling easy.
It lets me know that one TOM is a glass cutter and the other TOM is the welder without having to open the contact.
It stops me from asking myself why is there a guy name Stan in my contact when i can see contractor next to his name without opening the contact.

Why i say contact/FB integration is limited.
It’s a smartPHONE which is all about keeping in touch/connected. And this one allows FB integration into contacts. So why if I have a contact with a FB link can’t I IM or go to their FB page from the contact. Why do I still have to open a FB app and search for them again when i already have them in contacts?
The camera in this phone has face tagging for people in the contacts. So why don’t I have a link to their photos from contacts?
So yes, i could type to find a comp or person in contacts but wouldn't it be nice if i didn't have to? these are the improvements i would like to see as a user of the phone.

i charge it with my galaxy tab charger 2A very fast charging just an hour and half to full battery try it , also i have searched it and it doesnt harm ur battery just shorten its life by a few month so considering a battery lives for 18month when its shorten to a 14 or 13 month doesnt matter , anyway after a year i always change my battery to a new one

My android version is 4.1.1 but still lag a bit, Hope SAMSUNG will realise new update for Galaxy S3 more smoothed and can move app to SD CARD then the internal storage can install more apps.hope can improve more!
Samsung pls be smart.

Hi guys please help me out.
I bought this phone today and have loads of probes.
1.when I am above 50% brightens I can see lines flowing on screen while browsing.
2. It's not connecting to WiFi properly.
3. I kept the phone charging for 3 hours n now it's only 44%.
I bought it very happily but now I am worried a lot.what to different please help me.
I have done factory reset, wiped cache but no results....pls help...

I have a problem here... after I updated for new version, my phone is become slow and not nice to use.. its ice cream sandwich updated to jelly beam.. I want to ask any way can change back to latest version? I dislike on the new version..

Andy, 12 Nov 2012Great phone. Too bad the build quality is so bad. The plast... moreactually it is made out of Polycarbonate which is a "high end plastic", if you prefer to call it that way. the only thing that makes it kinda look cheap is the glossy finish on it. you can try flexing the back cover, it's actually very sturdy. if you want to prove that it's gonna break after flexing too hard, give a link of a video at least. watch blendtech's will it blend of SIII, and you'll see that the phone actually has a great build quality.

jayesh13, 13 Nov 2012yaa buddy facing same problem. charging is also taking much time gs3 is the best phone currently, in top demand over the whole world.
might not be affected for those one fault reason of yours.
