Samsung has started sending out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to Galaxy SIII users in India. The update was made available towards the end of October in European markets.
The update is available for download over-the-air (OTA) and through Samsung's Kies software. To check for the update, users can go to settings and the go to 'About Phone' to check for the update. The size of the update is 291 MB.

Hey guys, can someone help me ...yesterday My s3 got updated with jelly bean..since then my battery is not charging...i tried to charge it with data network lead than also it was not charging....please help guys !!!!!!!!

Dee, 10 Nov 2012I'm using only Homescreen and deleted all other screens off... morePersonally, I'm using one Home Screen as I don't usually download many apps.
Only those apps I use frequently is in my Home Screen. Rest, I just access through the app drawer.

Amazing phone great graphics best battery timing beautiful design before galaxy I'm a iPhone big fan but from when I use galaxy 1/2 and present s3 I forget d iPhone apple release iPhone 5 but there in nothing new in iPhone 5 just a little big screen 4" and s3 have many new features like s voice s beam good talk time great game graphics I suggest buy only s3 if u want a complete phone

jelly bean update is available in bangladesh foe sgs3.
i m using it and
its really cooooool.....

..... Or better still, keep your finger on the dots for a second on the Home screen and it turns into a bar you can slide left/right really fast.

My Tips shear for the day…
You can tap the dots at the lower portion of your home screen to jump to the home screen that dot represents (its alot faster than swiping to the left or right) to get the page you want.
You can answer a call with the home key and end it with the power key (this will not turn off the screen) by turning on those settings in…
Phone>menu>call settings>Call answering/ending
