AnonD-56991, 11 Oct 2012I don't think many people really believe a screen protector... moreYou see the micro scratches with all that finger grease on the screen? Plus a thin plastic screen protector scratches a lot worse than if the phone had a normal pain of glass for a screen (which it does not). What do you think that looks like in sunlight? It also adds additional friction to the touch surface, so your fingers no longer glide across the screen. Over time they get a tint because of the UV breakdown of the plastic or maybe it’s the adhesive. On some model phones that tinting messes with the behaviour of the proximity sensor. This is just my opinion after trying 3 different brands of the crap back when my HTC HD2 was new. Those things became popular back when screens were made of soft plastic and touch screens used resistive touch tec. And just how that type of screen was phased out, so should its protector.

Anonymous, 10 Oct 2012hi everybody, please i need your help as i want to replace ... moreBoth HTC One X & GS3 are good phones, depending on which one you prefer. Just don't bother with the LG P880, it's the worst of the 3 quad core phones mentioned here!

I've all three of these quad core phones, the build quality of the One X is best. Call quality & signal strength so so only. WiFi & Bluetooth connection have some issue with mine.

GS3 very strong reception, overall experience very good, Amoled screen is very comfortable to the eyes (some people may say IPS HD screen color more accurate, but who cares? ... when looking at the screen of a smartphone for a long time, it's most important that your own eyes feel comfortable; not how bright or accurate the color of the screen is. bright screen also hurt your eyes).

A phone that you purchase may come with a lot of issues, while others who purchase the same model may have no problem at all, so this really depends on your luck!

You should try out both the GS3 & HTC One X before making decision which one to choose. There's going to be a HTC One X+ coming. BTW, GS3 hold it's value better, not as good as iPhones; but definitely better than any other phones out there. I'll suggest for you to go for the GS3.

But the rest of t... moreI don't think many people really believe a screen protector is gonna stop your screen cracking, But it's silly to say they a rip off because just a grain of sand on the screen while using it is enough to scratch through the Oleophobic top layer and give loads of little micro scratches, and if you have micro scratches using phone in direct sunlight it refracts the light and ruins the look of the screen.
