Damn, such a shamen i spend 650€ on a phone and its lagging like shit, wtff?
And im not the first one, once ive got back to the shop they told me i was the 450 person who had the same problem, and now i just have to wait 3-6 weeks before i have my phone back! Xs

hi everybody, please i need your help as i want to replace my HTC wildfire S which was my first experience with HTC and Android and it was a pleasant one, now i am so confused and can't deciede whether to buy HTC one X or Samsung S3, i have heared about some problems in both concerning the software and battery in one X and also soft and hardware in S3, so can you help me with advice plzzzzzzzzzzzz. thx in advance :)

But the rest of the phone is “gorilla nothing” so invest in a gel case.
Protect against shock damage that can damage internal parts.
Battery covers scratch easy as well
Screen protectors are really for brush scratching not really going to help for the damage that could be caused by dropping.

What you really mean is that you want to read what others are saying. e.g. Does it run correctly? Does it install correctly? Are there any problems with the ROM etc. etc. But that's alright.
Don't follow the instructions you read there. Step 7) and 8) are wrong. When you unzip the file all you will get is the .tar file you will need and Odin v3.04
Just load the .tar file into PDA and press START.
I didn't bother with steps 11, 12, and 13 either.

The kernal date is Sat 15 Sep, but believe me, that is not important. What IS important is the speed of this ROM, it FLIES!
There are two ways of doing the upgrade.
1) You can flash an OTA update which is 283.9Mb, but you will need to flash ICS (XXBLG8) back onto your phone first and then put JB on top of it.

It's a 789.4Mb download, but I prefer this ROM because it is pure JB, not just an overwrite.
Take my word for it, this ROM is FAST!
I've been told that this is the ROM that will be released for UK users, but only time will tell.
p.s. Yes, the black band (as you call it) is still present.

Is the black band still at the top of the pics in the Gallery in landscape mode?
