Why don't you buy the bigger brother gn II directly with JB version from onset.

AnonD-74730, 06 Oct 2012What is LTE (regional)?the LTE stands for Long Term Evolution which is 4g network. It's waaay much faster than 3g. Not all carriers worldwide has 4g yet and even here in Singapore, only 1 of the 3 local carriers has full islandwide 4g network.
the other 2 only has 4g network at certain places, mainly the airport and city area. When not on 4g netwrok, it will switch to 3.5g.
in terms of speed, i'll quote from someone
"there are 3 levels of 3G as shown in the status bar. "3G" is the slowest level. "H" is faster. "H+" is the fastest 3G level. Of course 4G is even faster than H+ and it will show as "4G" "

dont get it, sometimes trying to use the android geeks downloads it sometimes pops up with page not found etc.
@ freefaller the hotfiles download is the one ive been able to use/unzip from my pc ... but has the issue of not bein able to update via kies which u guys can.
it all just seems very inconsistent at best

So I know... morei got it fix downloaded a new version of kies from softonic website.the apps is running smoothly again with it's new version...the only problem now is the firmware update,my friend got initial update for his S3 but i didn't got any....why is it like that i'm confused

There isn't anything wrong with the JB ROM download according to other feedback on the Android Geek site.
Try the Hotmail download:

I've used that Rom to flash THREE SIII's now without any problem. Maybe it's packed differently, I don't know, but I had no problems unzipping it.

that JB download off the android geeks site looks like it could be the problem as a friend wanted me to flash his s3 to JB and yep same issue on his comp broken/corrupt file, and hes never had any issues uzipping in the past.

So I know the error you are talking about.
It’s being cause by the program wanting administrative rights and having it blocked. The fix is easy.
1.Go to the start menu and un-install kies from “all programs”
2.Download the new windows version from the Samsung web site and do a clean install.
Problem solved have fun.

The answer is easy! Dump Kies. It is 'Crapware'. Only fools and beginners use that useless piece of crap! I dumped it a long time ago because it was so bad.
If you don't believe me just Google 'Kies won't recognize my phone'. That alone comes up with 119,000 hits, and thats just one problem that Crapware suffers with.
