So advice you to remove ( messenger ) and Install instead of it app called ( FacebookChatEnabler ) After that Facebook will not be required to install annoying ( messenger ) ....
2- Not install many apps that consuming battery and ram such as social network apps or games ...etc, You must know that most of these applications are running in the background even if not used !!!!! Only install what you really need in your daily life .
3- If you are using battery for more than 18 months it’s better to change and get a new one .

The "begining"... Hands down. Love that phone even after those years. Performance, display, camera all great. Only battery is down side but not that much. Sure that in 2015 still will be a decent device. SGS3-The King.

Sorry, but you are wrong. The S3 i9300 never has, and never will, get KitKat firmware.
On the pane to the left of these posts click on Specifications and then under OS you will see that it is upgradable to Jelly Bean v4.3
If you don't believe GSMArena then go to Sammmobile:

who also state that the i9300 will never receive KitKat.

There you will find firmware for every country that Samsung has released firmware for. Not ONE country has ever received KitKat on the i9300

What is even stranger is that the Samsung firmware for the i9300 never went above v4.3, yet you claim to have v4.4.2.0032 on your phone.

Android 4.4.2.0032 messed up. Phone shows EST time & calendar, but alarms go off 6 hours early. Changes notification sounds randomly and none of the notifications go off. WTH?

I have this phone since 2012 and still working perfectly especially flashing CM11 for Kikat 4.4.4. With 1GB RAM, the free RAM is about 370MB.

Samsung should put out a update for this phone to maybe like 4.4.2 kitkat at least they shouldn't be like Apple an leave the other devices in the dark :D
