      3 network is switching off unlimited tethering in January, don't get caught out or else your phone bill will go through the roof.

        actually I charge my battery thrice a day. which is not favourable all
        at least twice would have been ok

          yes about the cm 12 5.0.2 at first i installed alpha version which was very buggy with lots of issues. now the latest is beta 3 unofficial. u can check xda forums. its very stable (camera, wifi, 3g) i get 280 mb free ram but the only problem is fast battery drainage. other than that its perfect

            samsung corby 2,glxy y,china's phone ,glxy trend,bb 9720,glxy core,glxy s4,glxys4 mini,ip4,glxy s5,oppo neo5, htc one x, Now.. samsung galaxy s3 =).. very good phone!!!

              I have this phone nearly for two years now and it never EVER let me down. I have with Three UK network with unlimited data and unlimited thetering and it is just brilliant. My data usage is somewhere between 40 - 100 gb per month (seriously!!!) and it is still doing it's job perfectly. To be honest, sometimes i feel really sorry for my poor cell phone. Kids games, guitar pro, dash cam, music, videos - all of this on daily basis, heavily used and no complaints. This cell phone will handle anything. I think that i will feel very sorry if i will have to buy myself a new phone. Thank you Samsung!!!

I cant see any deal breakers in the newer models....waterproof would be great, but I think I would rather save £250 and just look after my phone :-) I rarely take it out anyway. Funnily enough most powerful games run fine on dual core anyway. Maybe in 2015 I will need to use the quad core option more.

                          It depends on s3 users...if you know how to take care of your phone...it wont be much trouble..it doesnt matter what phone you buy,its still the same..s3 or s4 or what...depends on how you take care of your phone.

                                    HTC is much better in the performance & battery life department.
                                    And if not HTC then nexus. after nexus anything that don't have touchwiz. My wife is still using my old SIII so I get a constant reminder of how lame it it is now going into 2015

                                        It's just a phone guys, don't need to get so attached. It was a great phone in 2012 and even in 2013 but we're one week away from 2015 now. Yes I know there is ported Note 4 rom but that doesn't make it a Note 4. Ridiculous.

                                        Actually I worded my previous post wrong, I still have mine but its been sitting in a box in a closet for almost 18 months now.
