i think third update is for battery and little changes in browser. before update I was having charging issue . battery was taking 10-20hours to fully charge. now its taking only 3n half hours from 15% . my 5 issues with s3 , 1.was taking 2 much time in charging 2.standby mode battery draining 3.fast instant unusual draining 4. battery % stucking and than sudden switch off 5. bad signal reception in network and wifi break

Seriouly, if i must compare this to any other cellphone ive ever used, there is no comparison! This phone has set the bench mark and its going to be hard for other companies to keep up with it.
iPhone vs S3
First of all, you can barley get any good apps for free on the apple store and the paid ones are ridicilously priced, and if you willing to pay for at least 1gig data a month, go ahead, but i can assure you, the S3 can do everything the Iphone does, and more, and ten times better!

First of all the Ascend is running on the chipset Android ICS is written for, a huge benefit, and it has compatibility in most games and apps as so many phones uses same - or older version - of TI's chipset. The Exynos in S3 has less compatibility. As simple as that.
But if it's gaming you really want, neither phone can be said to be the best, you need the Tegra (3) platform to get the most gaming compatibility.

dont get it.. a game as seemingly basic as glow hockey lags, guess its something to do with the screen technology but almost makes the game unplayable which sucks as i dig that game!

back again haha...i picked up the huawei ascend p1 a couple weeks back now and just picked up the samsung galaxy S yesterday obviously
kinda having second thoughts on selling the ascend p1 now...
its actually quicker than the s3 and games seem to run faster aswell.. eg.. glow hockey on the ascend p1 there is absolutely zero puck lag and on the s3 yep definitely noticeable like u cant even have it on the hardest setting as there is pretty much no point the puck just doesnt keep up with ur finger..
also loading webpages most of the time the p1 beats the s3 to the punch.. maybe cas the p1 runs such a bare os it just makes it that much quicker but man really starting to wish i could afford to keep both now!!

The specs are fals regarding to the cpu. Per Samsung.com it a 1.5GHz Advanced Dual Core, Qualcomm not Quad core as the page displays it.

i had the opportunity to test and choose between gs3, g beam and nokia 808 and i bought the nokia. I realized that i wouldn't use 90%(maybe more) of the apps of gs3 and and i really like the samsung projetor's phone but i didn't find anything about replace the projector's led. I'm very impressed with my phone cus most of the time it's being better than my semi-professional camera, the gps is great and totally FREE, the sound is great also(thanked by DOLBY), and finally it has a wonderful build quality(my nokia 808, that is kinda heavy, dropped 1,0m with the screen upside down and NOTHING happened). Most of people in the world use their smartphones to take pictures and and update their status on social networks(you can check it out on google) and my PureView do it very well.

awesome got nova launcher now so i can re-arrange my 5 home keys.. not a fan of touch wiz

Did any one noticed the quadrant benchmark has been reduced by 1500 to 2000 points and finally result shows about 3400 to 4000 points after the latest update given by the Samsung...previously it was around 5300 points any one knows why it has been reduced ....
