The icons you mean are the ones on your Home screen. You can't move the App Drawer icon, that is fixed.
You can move the other icons by holding your finger on one and then dragging it into a new position.
RE the wallpaper, NO, you can't.

A quick tip for speeding up your S3
Open the App drawer and select S Voice. Press the left menu button and then Settings. UNTICK the 2nd option - 'Launch S Voice' and return to the Home screen. You will now notice that your S3 is a little quicker (No Lag).
I don't know why it works but it does.

I'm not sure which icons you wish to change.... moreThanks but dont think I made myself very clear.... the 5 short cut keys so I can move the app short cut to the center..
Also with the wallpaper so when I'm searching my apps there isn't the wallpaper behind them (blank or black )... but still having the wallpaper in the homescreens

I'm not sure which icons you wish to change.
Lockscreen icons: On Home screen press Settings/Security & lock screen/Lock screen options. Then press Shortcuts. On the next screen tap the shortcut you wish to change.
Home screen icons: Hold down on the icon you wish to move and then move it, or drag it to the Home screen. Then you can choose the App you want and drag it onto the shortcuts.
Wallpaper: Just hold your finger on an empty space on your Home screen for 2 seconds. The select the wallpaper you want for Home/Lock screens.

markiimg , 20 Aug 2012Hey just got my S III wow wow wow !!! my question is I n... moreTV out requires a speical jack available at Radio Shack that plugs into the audio jack but carries the video signal. The other end goes into your flat screen aux input which has one jack for audio and the other video. Basicly shows your phones video on the flat screen. While watchable especially on wifi, it is not the best picture you can generate like with a xbox on wifi but does give you a wider viewing area for friends to see your stuff.

Couple things.... u can't change the order of ur msg/call/browser /contacts /apps menu keys???
Also is there a way of setting up a live wallpaper but it not appearing on ur app screens as it makes it hard to make out
text /apps???

Iphone 4S user , 20 Aug 2012my brother bought it for 500$ the 16 Gb version the prices ... moreHistory says the Galaxy S is always better than the equivalent iPhone and the iPhone 5 is expected to only have a 4 inch screen so if you want the best phone just buy the S3 now because I can guarantee it will be better, but if you really want IOS that is highly restrictive you have no choice but to buy iPhone 5.

my brother bought it for 500$ the 16 Gb version the prices are going down fast so im either gonna wait for the Iphone 5 or buy a new GS3 what do u recommend ??

john, 20 Aug 2012How did u get it for 445 brand new :@ I got mine for 600 Some guy on gumtree... wanted a quick sale... had it advertised for 500 ... the guy didn't really know what he doing.... knocked off 55 bucks cas it was Locked but was locked to my carrier so got really lucky!!
