This is my 2nd S4 ,the first went back under warranty because of its rapid discharge of the battery.
the second has just gone back after a download from the factory that rendered it useless.
A part from that it has been a good servant, it can easely be mastered by the older generation like me.YEP i would go for another one anyday.
my previous Samsungs over the last eight years have also given good service

And about phone a 5 year old Samsung galaxy-s4 is any day better than prime and duos.. Go for it also you can bargain n reduce more price

Anonymous, 18 Apr 2015Yup. Battery draining after lollipop.Don't know my battery life is very good after update.. I would advise to format phone and clear cache and than see the difference in battery life

Battery life so far after lollipop update has been incredible...original samsung battery from 18 months sgo.

hi
this is to inform you that the latest update is not at all good and the device does not recognise b/w 2g 3g or 4g no signal strength and over all the battery is draining and always need to walk with battery mobile charger and it is a pain in the wrong place paying money and rest is history
guys fix this

After long search I voted for s... moreCalled customer service they said binary update is available and will be rolled out soon for Samsung Galaxy s4 bugs lollipop fix thank god my phone was so good I should not have updated it to lollipop.. But thank Samsung releasing a bug fix soon

AnonD-380742, 18 Apr 2015Writing review after 35 days usage.. got mobile frm amazon... moreYou can go back to kitkat from lollipop but it's complex stuff you have to use Odin and flash the files s4 people's are facing memory leak problem like you and me actually goggles Ashdod 5.0.1 is not stable that's y google released 5 5.0.1 5.0.2 and than 5.1 in very quick succession I have nexus 4 and android 1 also.. Samsung in a hurry to give the customer a lollipop treat made this very fast and beta stage released it coz every one wanted lookup and was complaining nexus got lollipop moto got lollipop why we not.. Nexus moto Andorra one are not features rich mobile they are stock Android so they face less bugs and easy to build there lollipop from aosp.. I caked Samsung and went to service Centre explained them all bugs they were not knowing about the bugs coz we don't shout on them we shout here in forums.. I would suggest go to customer service Centre or call Samsung Toll free number and explain them.. They told be binary update big fix version coming next week.. For a beta version lollipop is great except the chrome crash... But to taste Lollipop so early we had to face some bugs... Still in fan of Samsung giving lollipop to more than 23rd old phone which was launched with 4.2.2 ..saw so many updates
